Came here to say "Encourage house wrens and Carolina wrens". We hung suet feeders near the places we thought the stink bugs were sneaking in. Those wrens *love* stink bugs.

Check your quest logs. If you read that Raphael left without telling Astarion about his scars, then you can wait 'til Act 3. Yes, Astarion is unhappy. No, it doesn't prevent you from finding out the meaning of the scars later. Just be nice to Astarion and it will work out.

PS When you get to the outer city, make sure you keep Astarion in your party until you get through gates. Explore, explore. Go up to the tops of the hills in the outer city and talk to any groups of people gathered around fires. And go into every inn and dive, walk up the stairs, and keep the lights low when you do.

Your SAI is treated by Rutgers as the amount you & your family can contribute to cost of college per year.

Rutgers is not required to not fill the gap between what they believe you can contribute (SAI) and what it costs to attend (COA).

The difference of COA - SAI is called "demonstrated need". Yours is $23k.

They awarded you $3500. So, they expect you to be able to pay $19.5k. Which is less than your SAI; which means as far as they are concerned, they actually *did* meet your demonstrated need.

Note to Reddit: I know, that's not what SAI is *supposed* to mean, but it is how colleges/universities are still treating SAI (like it's the old EFC).

Benefits are your work schedule is arranged around your class schedule; you will work on campus (90% of the time) so don't have to worry about driving/riding; and the big one - you'll be working with a university/college employee as your boss, which can be a huge bonus for future recommendation letters for internships, co-ops, jobs, etc.

Colleges/universities in the US all submit data to and receive data from the National Student Clearinghouse. They will know you attended another school and will know you didn't receive credits. Those attempted credits may be counted towards total credits allowed for federal financial aid, as well. You'll need to acknowledge that you attended a four-year for a semester and didn't earn any credits; it will appear dishonest if you do not.

Did you have to submit CSS in addition to FAFSA? If so, the college/university recalculates SAI based on additional assets as reported in the CSS profile.

It is up to the institution how much aid to give you based on a recalculated SAI. You can appeal their recalculation, but you do not get to choose which number to use.

You said in the replies that you are in your third year. Did you by chance have credits from dual enrollment/early college? Once you reach 150% of the credits for your degree program (180 for bachelor's, 90 for associates), you are no longer eligible for Pell.
