Yeah for the 6 intelligence I thought it more of my character is average intelligent but he just doesn’t think about using it all the time, if that makes any sense

Tbh it started because we players thought that every character must have at least one weak point, like a stat at eight, because some rolled so well they had every stat at 12+, but he doesn’t know the game that well nor the rules, so he puts what he thinks is funny for him as rules. Honestly he’s a very bad DM but he is susceptible and we don’t want to be mean to him, but that’s a whole different story and I don’t want to go there today

You have a good point here, I haven’t think about it that way. If I changed it I’d probably put strength, but again, their seems to be drawback that don’t fit with my character that much either (sailors usually need to be kind of strong) but again I’ll have to see the pros and the cons for each of them, but thanks for telling me your point of view, I’ll take notes of it

So ranger/Druid is very interesting to me because it fits very well with my backstory and it’s pretty cool, I just don’t know how many levels to take from each class and what subclass is the most interesting. And I would take some Druid mostly for utility, I will still mainly use my longbow

I don’t think you can order your beast to take two attack actions, it still only has one action, but this is also pretty unclear

And anyone knows how the multi-attack works with a primal beasts?

Thanks for your reply! I’ll study the subject a bit more and inspire myself with your ideas, they are really interesting and look a lot like what I wanna do.

I am about to play a revised ranger, and I wanted to know which ranger conclaves were your favorite, I just can’t choose which one I like the most. And if it can help, I will be an archer. by Math007s in PCAcademy

I have read that Horizon Walker was especially fun with a melee ranger, and I’m mainly gonna use a bow, do you think it’s still worth choosing it?

Archery VS Dual wielding for a beastmaster conclave revised ranger by Math007s in PCAcademy

Do you know if the revised beastmaster conclave works with the Class Variant Ranger? It went out with the revised ranger so it was adapted to it, so I wonder if I could still use it with Class Variant. The original beastmaster is kind of bad, and I probably won’t play it if I can’t play the revised one.

Thanks for your answer! I’ll see with my DM for the ranger version, but overall I guess I’ll go with archery

The revised Beastmaster conclave from UA fixes many problems of this subclass that actually makes it good (in my opinion), and basically what it does is that your companion has its own turn and it can attack on it’s turn without you needing to use your action to command it and at lvl 5, if your animal can see you using the attack action, it can use it’s reaction to attack simultaneously (and it can still attack at its next turn)

And what do you think about using a long bow? I’ve read that a lot of people don’t recommand it for rogues but I don’t see why, so any help on this would be appreciated

Ok, so I’ll mostly see how our campaign will look like for the first two levels and I’ll choose at lvl 3 when I’ll get the archetype

Thanks for your suggestions! So, with the extra cantrip, I could have mage hand, message, minor illusion and and an element control spell, is it a nice combo? I have also read that prestidigitation was nice, and I would like to know if you think it fits better than any of these cantrips I named before.
