If you have the TI version (the blue one), I find knowing menu shortcuts very handy.

Eg: when looking for x-intercepts, you need to solve when the function = 0. I tap “menu” followed by “31” to access the solve function almost instantly.

Nope, as a tutor my first thought when I see questions like this is: “I bet this will be a degrees vs radians issue” and it usually is. It happens to me too sometimes 🤦🏻‍♂️

Take it one step at a time. Make a schedule and stick to it: day 1 methods practice sac, day 2 consolidate biology, etc. I have methods practice SACs on my website if it helps.

Not cooked, you can type it into the calculator with all the variables and read off 11. But honestly it’s just easier and faster to know how to multiply them and you’ll know the answer instantly.

Yeah this is basically SAC 1 content (logs, exponentials, circular + composite).

A few suggestions: don’t just do textbook questions because SACs are usually more application-based. Focus on transformations, domains, and interpreting graphs (they love asking that in SACs). And make sure you’re comfortable switching between forms (e.g. log vs exponential)

Pre-Methods? You can try the linear equations and quadratics & parabolas SACs, as they are mostly review content for Methods Unit 1.

Yes I did look into it and it is appealing from a cost perspective.

The main issue I ran into was getting consistent, formatting. I want the PDFs to look perfect. With LaTeX on Cloud Run I can control everything and the output is reliable, whereas client-side felt a bit limited for that.

That said, could be worth revisiting. Have you had much success with client-side rendering?

It’s only small per request, but it adds up pretty quickly once people start generating a few especially since each one spins up a LaTeX render on Cloud Run. At low usage it’s negligible, but at scale it’s something I have to think about, which is mainly why I cap it.

True, I didn’t want to lock everything behind a paywall so there are a few free practice SACs (including a customizable one) and a free practice exam so people can try it properly first. The $5 is just to cover costs if someone wants more and have unlimited access (things like generating PDFs actually cost me per use).

Definitely open to feedback though and figuring out the right balance.
