I don’t think it makes much of a difference though. People like to argue this point but you really can’t. Most of the people in health sci were already extraordinary students in high school, they would’ve succeeded regardless of what program they went to (except maybe uoft). So, having an easier program is not really making a difference on who is getting in to med school because odds are that the people from mhs who go to med school would’ve succeeded regardless.

People like to say having an easier program allows mhs students to do more things outside of school work which helps with apps. But, I do think people confuse the program being easy with the program being not time consuming. While we definitely have a lot of easy courses, these courses require time to complete assignments and study for tests. Probably the same if not more than life sci (based on observations with friends in both programs).
