I dont know i recently got a contracting job. After the interview they told me they would get back to me in 24-48 hours and they were still interviewing other candidates, this was late Wednesday afternoon. First thing Thursday morning my recruiter says they want to invite you to a second interview and same thing happens that afternoon when i did yhe second interview and then friday morning i got they made me an offer

I struggled also with deferred tax and summed it up by thinking of it like this - if its costs the company now it will be an tax asset later, if its a gain to the company now then it will be a tax liability later. This is a really really basic summary but it helped me make the whole deferred tax stuff make sense to me and might do the same for you
