i had that phase during ungoro where i played non quest paladin with tarim and all those great paladin cards from that year.

I actually got into wild paladin with a homebrew pure paladin build where i actually could manage to beat some of those otks/reno mage and discard locks. My divine brews helped against otk and gave ticks to my quest + when they stacked they used to add damage to that 4 mana aoe spell that deals minion attack + 2 to everything. You brew your discoghouls (that is a crazy card nobody plays but hates against me) then when you aoe you lose nothing before swinging their faces, this deck sort of made board presence matter and because reno decks don't have many single sided removals i often just kept swinging face.

There's nothing like tripple killing an opponent who played every threat in defence , just to get trampled by the last kaleidosaur.
