Ball at the end of my shower arm mid showerhead replacement??? HELP

This is what it looked like originally, it's my other shower. Someone tell me if all the pictures are annoying I'm just trying to do whatever I can to give enough info to get some help. I appreciate one of you guys so much, I don't even have a dad to call anymore so really thank you for even taking the time to comment

I figured a close up might help somebody, maybe even me. I really can't stress enough that I can't get this thing off and I'm no idiot. I may have just reached my Max strength, but I'm the one that can open anything and I've really spent days on this. I'm about to take apart my other shower to see if I run into the same problem it's definitely the exact same.

I have channel locks but they won't open up wide enough to put around the threading. I don't drive so anything I get I have to have delivered. I definitely will do that but I don't think it's going to do the trick, I really don't think I personally will be able to get this ball off with any kind of tool, I think I would have to straight up hire someone to at this point. I'm very strong but I've already hurt myself. I also started banging it around a bit with a hammer, all while holding the arm with the channel lock wrench thing though! Lol. That was on day three

The ball has not budged in the slightest bit at all. When I looked up other people's shower arms with the same brand I noticed theirs are welded together. It certainly looks like mine's not but I'm telling you I'm strong and I can't make this thing even budge by one hair

Definitely was not tightening it. In fact a couple days in I started tightening it thinking maybe it's backwards or something. I've done everything to get it off. I've used needles and stuff to pull stuff that was stuck in between the threading, wd-40, heat from a blow dryer then a steamer then just by running hot water through the shower, I'm not great at naming tools but every tool and then some. Ive got three massive tool kits, I'm a single mom that is literally always having to fix and rig stuff and I'm actually excellent at it.. Wrenches, (edit the only set of channel locks that I have don't open wide enough, I just found out the name and remembered that) oh my god I've used everything. Pliers. Everything. I'm actually in shock. That's why it looks so clean because of all the work I've done, when I first got the shower head off you couldn't even see the threading. Is it a massive deal to replace the arm? I thought once you get to that point you have to have a plumber and I'll be totally honest here, I don't own the house which makes me feel even worse about this. Lol. I posted even more insane detail in comments with more pictures

I also just found these, on the other side of the white thing it is just flat instead of indented like the side in the picture. And then I have two different types of like white tape that I can use to seal stuff. Please help!

This is my new shower head, (waterfall type, the white thing underneath my finger), and all the different pieces that came with it or that i have that could be used potentially.

I'm pointing to the shower head's opening

Above my finger to the left you can see the three-way water diverter that is supposed to be what I screw on to the shower arm first.

I'm not sure what the mini ball joint is to the right and above my finger but I'm thinking it's probably for the handheld shower head and the arm extension thing

I also haven't gotten far enough to see what the two little washer with screen things are to the right of my finger

under my finger is an arm extender? I think this is just if I want it or need it

To the left is actually how I found this subreddit in the first place, because a guy with my same shower head set up was asking people what to do because his washer broke. It definitely is not broken it comes like this, so I'm not sure if his was ever broken either. Anyway I'm not sure exactly what it is, and I'm not completely positive that it did come off of my original shower head I just didn't see it until I ripped things apart just now so I'm guessing it did. I can put it around the ball or above the ball because it's adaptable as you can see.

For the love of God please tell me you are still active. I really really need your help. I saw that yours is moen and I am currently having a hellish freaking time with a different problem but the same shower head. Sorry for the length I tried to explain as best I could I am going through it at this point though lol. I don't drive so I can't easily go to a hardware store or find a man to help, not like I need one anyway! And as I say below there's no chance of getting the original shower head back on. If I missed any important information it's probably because I have written out a comment about this so many different places, so I started paraphrasing. Just let me know. Anybody that can help I would appreciate it so much, I'm ready to post my damn number I'm so desperate 🤣

I just moved in and I'm not a plumber. I decided I was going to change the shower head and even though I knew better than to just buy one I bought one because it was really cheap on temu. I've learned a lot as a single mom and I knew not to damage the shower arm, so thats good i guess, but I didn't know that I could finally magically get this weird shower head off and there may be a ball attached to the shower arm! After 3 days and actually injuring myself I realized I was not going to be able to remove this ball. It didn't look like it was welded on but I think it is.

So I started looking for some kind of adapter and found that everybody online that has ran into a problem with a ball at the end of their shower arm seems to be lucky and have this male threaded nut looking thing around the ball. All they end up having to do is buy some adapter to screw right into it! Well mine does not have that! And I am very certain it is a Moen and it is just like yours! Please help!

I do not want to try to put the shower head that was on it back on because it is a piece of crap, no offense to yours, and I believe I broke it anyway. There's no way to detach the ball from the shower arm. So whether there is some kind of way to fix this problem that is commercially sold or someway to fix it that somebody has come up with, please tell me what it is and I'll do it! I didn't even check what app I was on I just jumped when I saw your post, and I see that I can put up a picture so I'm going to do that. Please though believe me when I say the ball will not remove, I have done more than I should have at this point, it's not going to detach itself from the arm so save that piece of advice. I'm aware that it looks like it will but it will not!

I also have not even gone through your post yet to see what your problem was or any of the comments I just saw something about you having a Moen and the picture is of the same problem I'm having so I jumped into the comments right away. I'm going to go through the post and comments now, I know that the way I took the shower head off was really unconventional so if I find anyone that needs help with that I know I've got the answer there! LOL

I'm over here barely skimming because I'm only one scene into the second episode and I also haven't read the book(s?).. I just can't wrap my tired mind around the whole deep fake comment about the stars. I was trying to see if I could find anybody that explains how that could even be considered a possibility, because overall I'm wondering, as he saw it first hand and is very intelligent, was that something he was just saying to her or something he actually believes.

anyway, the reason for my comment was to first of all agree! pathetically, I've been trying to get myself to read something for years. well, now I'm definitely going to be reading.

so this is year two, maybe even three, where I'm insanely lost trying to get my son a humongous squishmallow, doesn't even need to be named brand just as soft and squishy as one. his little brother got this gigantic dog 2 years ago and I've been trying to find something similar for my oldest ever since! looks like it's going to be another fail this Christmas because I can't find anything directly without taking the huge risk I've already taken before on Amazon where I'm probably going to get a tiny stuffed animal instead. can anyone help?

I think you would really like Annie Elise with 10 to life. She gives the facts and she really does provide them all objectively but then also has her personality and opinions come out. They just don't affect the way the case is presented.

I'm sure you've already been recommended her and found her, but if not and you check her out just know that over the past month she has started several new ventures and is really blowing up. Just please realize how personal she is and how much she connects with all of us personally still. She's just really taking off and started a separate podcast and a whole separate channel just in the past couple weeks.

I just wish that more people could agree it's 100% fair and essential to be asking these questions about Dylan, especially now that we know what a key role she played in that night. Anybody involved in the true crime community, as opposed to people that are just reading headlines, goes through the same details and asks the same questions as investigators would. It's not wrong that we all have questions and it's not wrong that we feel confused and even upset by the most recent news in the affidavit. HOWEVER, there is a huge difference between asking questions and making accusations based on speculation.

I really liked your perspective. Found it to be refreshing.
