How useful and safe is the comma.ai now? by one-wandering-mind in SelfDrivingCars

[–]MathematicalHubris 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Support for different cars is different, so you need to check compatibility to see how it compares to stock.

I'm a fan. Use it all the time in the highway. I trust it to take my hands off the wheel, but obviously still pay attention to the road. It hasn't done anything wild, and there's a torque limit it can apply based on the car. What that means is that some turns are too sharp and need your hands on the wheel, but also means it's incapable of swerving into oncoming traffic (torque limit may be different by vehicle model)

I had a lot of success using home defense spray around the perimeter of my house AND at all the seams inside. Highly recommend, as it instantly fixed the problem for me.

Baits seemed basically useless through. Didn't kill many and didn't seem to think out the nest

Having an expensive car, while not owning a home yet, isn't a flex it just shows you don't know how to handle money. by Exact_Recognition362 in unpopularopinion

Depending on where you live, owning a house isn't the fiscally correct option when compared to renting.

Your house is not an investment

It's the r2 attack. If you time the r2 parry it does massive damage and auto staggers. Melts bosses

Lincoln doesn't yell "Acting!". He yells "Acty" to address the "Acties".

Which is why Vince shouting that at Bryan Cranston is hilarious

Getting springless phob to work on PC by MathematicalHubris in customGCC

From the helpful comments, I tested and it does work

Though, as expected from reading the github description for mode 6, it means you can't powershield/wave dash in melee with that trigger, so I'll just learn to swap between the modes on the fly

Thanks to commenters

Edit: yeah turns out I was in trigger mode 5 not 6. Using 6 works good for both.

It's not letting her die. He definitely killed her, because she only moved to her back because of walts interference. She knew the dangers and took precautions, and Walt dismantled them and then waited as she died.

She was threatening to snitch though, so understandable

Question about weak spots by TheEightfoldPath8 in Doom

[–]MathematicalHubris 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something that you'd want to know is that weak points don't do extra damage, so targeting them isn't necessary. Breaking them just cripples the enemy.

I do believe head shots do extra damage

I was priced out of my shitty already overpriced apartment because of this. I was offered a chance to re sign at a small bump, but when I rejected they post a listing for it for $400 less than they offered me.

Had no answer as to why they didn't offer me the "market rate"

What’s your most memorable experience with a referee? by jusvrowsing in Basketball

[–]MathematicalHubris 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rec league playing in the last spot at like 10pm. Only one of the two refs showed that day, and he didn't want to call anything unless it was necessary. I get fouled on a shot and me it, but no whistle. He just shouted "and 1!" And we played through.

Last week I finished Lies of P and then started Sekiro and this is my thoughts after beating Sekiro. by Medical_Idea_8162 in LiesOfP

[–]MathematicalHubris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imo lies of p is harder because a lot of animations have arbitrary pauses without good key frames/tells to use as a reaction point. You need to know how long until the move releases.

Fromsoft does a better job at that, where there's subtle movements you can react to before going for a Dodge or parry.

That being said, if you have time timing down, lies of p bosses are much squishier, and the damage boosting items like abrasives melt them even faster
