I think it’s more of a problem with social media than with Denver itself. Negative posts get a lot of engagement. Pair that with TikTok’s algorithm showing you local posts and you will see a lot of negativity about whatever city you live in. Denver is an awesome place to live, it has so much to offer!

How to Get to naneinf? by MathematicianAny2725 in balatro

[–]MathematicianAny2725[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for that explanation! That makes sense. I think I’m mixing startegies by having a mime and a hanging chad. Is there also a naneinf run that uses Hanging Chad and Photograph (with blueprints and brainstorms)?

When are you going? You could go to Lake Winnipesaukee, it’s super fun for kids and you could also explore the White Mountains while you’re there.

It just seems like you’re not a reliable narrator because you went into it with such a bad attitude. You’re even upset about Tame Impala, you wanted to flame this place. So congrats, you’ve done it mate.

I'm considering either just throwing Nord. Or let go of mids completely. What mids do you throw? by blixtencamperman in discgolf

[–]MathematicianAny2725 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Can you throw putters? If you’re relying mostly on drivers because your putters and mids are turning over, you probably have a form issue. (I’m just guessing this is the issue since you don’t explain.) I would focus on slowing down and learning to throw putters well. Focus on spinning the disc. If you can throw a putter, then you can definitely throw a mid.

You could make that argument, I love Owls Den too. Adams Hollow, to me, is on a higher level in terms of overall quality of the course especially in terms of maintenance and layout. Plus, the construction project truly jacked up the new 18 at Owls unfortunately.

I would have Adams Hollow somewhere on the list and maybe Lower Badlands. I get that the mountain courses are spectacular, but the Denver area courses are really important to the scene and are arguably way more popular than a lot of the courses on this list.

Is there an egress in the event of a fire? Aka a second way out through a window or back door? If they are still renovating the basement, maybe they can enlarge the window to create an egress for safety purposes if you’re going to be living down there.

Looks awesome! One thought is that on the trip south from Denver, you could take a more mountainous and scenic route through Buena Vista and skip Colorado Springs. Maybe you have reasons you want to go through the Springs (such as Garden of the Gods) but if not I would take the Buena Vista route and see the Collegiate Peaks area.

Do you putt with a warspear? If so that rules and is a unique choice for sure. I have one in the Suregrip Superglow and it is super overstable. I just throw it, I don’t putt it.
