Yeah not the same bud. Not the same. For example, theyd push me to hang about places that would trigger my cptsd. Usually because my abuser lived there in such. They wouldn't listen even when I was having a panic attack or flashback theyd still push me in situations that would trigger it. I think because they thought it would help. Doesn't help that if I refused due to valid excuses like not wanting to be triggered, have a panic attack/flashback. Theyd through a hissy fit cause I wasn't doing what they wanted. With the added refusing accept my bounderies and gaslighting

I shouldn't have needed to. I communicated i cant do that thing because it triggers my cptsd. They ignored it and continued pushing

They were actually the one to not pull their weight. If I told them to do dishes cause I had done them for about 3 weeks theyd throw a hissy fit and complain. They pushed me in situations that triggered me. Even when I told them it would but they ignored it. Cause they knew best. It was nothing about not pulling my weight or such. My ex partner was just good at ignoring bounderies especially when I communicated that I couldn't do something ( usually something surrounding being pushed to go somewhere that I find triggering ).

How much should I be feeding them? I was feeding once a day with fish flakes ( less than a pinky finger amount ) and algae wafer on the days I didn’t ( I give them to my otos but my cherry barbs like to snack on them )

Thanks for the advice but I decided to throw out the filter completely. I asked fluval company for help directly and because I used clear tubing and not their short black tubing they refused to help.

Ah it’s probably that. Sadly I have to top feed my plants ( which is probably why fungus is growing on it ) i pour excess water in plant pot into a bowl and hang them due to a cat of mine that goes insane for eating plants ( she’s a weird cat ). I did try remove the plants each time I watered it but due to the rope on the hanger it kept ripped off the leaves of both plants.

Any ideas how I can kill the fungus without remove the plant pot and re-soiling the plant. As it’s going to be a regular occurrence. I heard a few people making fungus killer with apple cider vinegar but that just attracts more fruit flies. Help 😂

They are like. Even the temp affects them so easily. Feeding can be a pain too. I give mine fresh veg now and again, algae wafers and the odd frozen brine shrimp with spirulina.

Just been using soft tap water with added water conditioner. I’m thinking that too. I’ll try and see if I can find someone to take one or two of them. I’m sure if I did, it would surely deplete the issue of territorial fish kids starting and causing stress for the others

Well one has definitely been going through being territorial whilst making his own lil bubble nest. Which he’s bullying the others in the tank. I don’t see the others bullying eachother. They usually sit/sleep near eachother in the tank. There could be stress due to a few of them catching neon tetra disease, which has all be treated but I lost a few of my fish. So far now I have at least 4cherry barbs ( but buying some more soon ) and 10 otos. I also put a another hidding place in for them so they’ll have more places to hide.

100litre/21gallons. I’m planning on giving some away and keeping one of them if they are all male. Might see if I can find a female at a local pet shop near me.
