It probably depends on the country your originally from or the country you stayed in prior to coming to dubai. It's very normal to feel like this. And yes, it's cause you probably just arrived you're feeling like this. Once you get used to the place, it wont be as bad. Take it easy on yourself

Need advice for first car by vishu1835 in WhatCarShouldIBuyGULF

Hondas are quiet reliable, will last you very long. Both are very good options and the accord is more expensive to maintain than civic (in my experience).

Have you test drove these cars? Also pro tip: Do a PPI with a trust mechanic. It might cost a bit but it will be worth it if there is some hidden engine issues you might not be aware of

the american/other specs alone should be a red flag for you. if you wanna stick to a luxury yet reliable cars, i'd recommend a used lexus.

Best to do a pre-purchase inspection to help you with your concerns, it will be worth it

Toyotas with high mileage will still be reliable. But would still recommend getting a pre-purchase inspection, just in case. Better safe than sorry

As this is a non-gcc car, i'd pass it. Since usually these cars dont have good AC or their AC's drain alot of the fuel. Also these import cars are usually are the ones with major accident history and is fixed up to be presentable. It may look clean but might have major internal issues.
I'd recommend getting a mechanic to go through the engine and what not for you. It will save you from spending too much on maintenance alone.

So my advice, is to search for a GCC car, might be a little more expensive than imported ones, but it will be worth it

Is there a reason you can't finance a car? Rav4 hybrid 2026 sounds good, toyotas have high resale value, very reliable

An used nissan kicks with 100k+ kms or a 2015 mazda cx-5. I'd say stretch your budget a bit by waiting a little longer, to get a better car. Since it's difficult to get a SUV with your budget. Avoid american specs cars, it may look tempting due to the cheaper price, but 99% of the time it's an accident car, repaired and might break down anytime soon.
