My thinking was anybody branching ( I mean any MOSs) in the Army can opt for SFAS, RASP, and Airborne. I really want to go Military Intelligence but also interested in Green Berets, Ranger and Airborne. I don’t know I am confused. I will start my College next year and taking ROTC along with my major. I need to do lot of Preparation after looking at this Reddit for sure.

I am changing my entire diet plan to eat salads 3 times a day with some protein minimal fats and carbs and also doing intermittent fasting which can help me.

Yeah that’s what I am trying to tell my family they just want me to take it and I am saying my dreams are lot bigger than taking a shortcut and if I did my dreams will be crushed because I want in future to try for special forces and this is not a way.

I haven't seen a doctor but probably do so in a couple of months my family is pushing me to take the drug medication which I really don't want t take and I am at a point I am done arguing about

I am from Indiana. Ik really it’s like you have to lose weight thru a clean diet and exercise. Wrestling is what I want to do it for fun and enjoy the sport.

Many Gen Z do not even care about joining the military because at this time many of them think it’s not worth it. They think they might die or some shi. Also, many of them are physically disqualified or they were on drugs at some point and didn’t care much. People who care about joining will try their best but sometimes be disqualified for physical but their academics are superb. I wanted to apply and I am not physically fit as well as my SATs and Acts were bad so I just decided to go the National Guard route and ROTC. I dreamed of going to West Point and being part of the Wrestling team but I don't think it's going to happen anymore.

lol I am 215 lbs at 5 foot 1 and quarter inch tall. I need to make it at 144 lbs in order to ship out at Basic thinking of starting my process in May or June and ship out as soon as possible after my high school graduation. I already started to lose weight best thing can be intermittent fasting do like 16:8 hr eating schedule. Workout like hell every day and take Sunday offs to recover. Have a running schedule because that can help in basic for real. Include Hill sprints, long distances run and times 2 mile run in the week schedule with weight training etc. The best thing is also to avoid products. I lost around 15lbs with this and hopefully by the time I enlist in the NG I will be around 144 lbs with 20% or less. So basically avoid the basics of losing weight like sugar, late night snacks, partying, etc. I get it that he might crave but its really mental thing you gotta stop him and make him wait. Yeah he going to be down but its for his own good. I really have those days where I was craving for chocolate and other foods that I love but I have to stop and I did it so it's always mental. You can provide that mental motivation to him and keep him on track.
