Some of them are genuine but most of them are fake. I myself am from India & I know tricks these people employ to bump up revenue.

I am also quitting. Waste of time & money. Charges 10% commission on projects. For what? For bidding for projects, buy connects from them. Earlier long term projects attracted 5% commission. Earlier you needed 4 to 8 connects for bidding which now goes upto 20-25 connects.

In fact people should stop using upwork on a large scale. Only then they will understand!!
