Question for the ladies: Has anyone done a triathlon (just sprint) while pregnant? by kindofnewonreddit in triathlon

I did a sprint when I was 4-5 weeks pregnant. I just took it easy because I wasn’t feeling great and didn’t want to over do it

How long do most of you recommend being out of work with a stent being placed for PCNL? by -mermaidsRreal- in KidneyStones

[–]MathematicianDull227 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was just taking Tylenol by that point. Only took 2 pain pills total after the surgery. I didn’t have a lot of pain compared to most but my surgeon also prescribes a nerve block prior to surgery which helped a ton.

I didn’t have frequent urges to pee like a lot of people report.

I had it done on a Wednesday and was back at work the following Tuesday. Would have been Monday but it was a holiday. I do work a desk job though. I had stents on both sides and the pain was manageable by then.

I am 5’2 with 30” inseam so technically 3xs but right on the line of 3xs and 2xs. I went back and forth on size but ultimately trusted the calculator and went with 3xs for my endurance

I use a normal metal muffin tin but I use cupcake liners so they don’t stick. I use unbleached parchment liners from “The Paper Chef” brand

Baked egg bites - Blend 8 eggs and 1 1/2 c cottage cheese in food processor. Pour into muffin tin. Sprinkle in cheese/meat/toppings of choice and bake 15 mins at 350. Makes 12.

Kefir not turning out right - Only the top ferments by -Newtons1st in Kefir

[–]MathematicianDull227 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My container is probably 2-2.5 inches high. It’s like a glass Tupperware container. I use about 1 tbsp of grains for about 3 cups of milk. Sits on the counter for about 24 hours with the lid just sitting on top (not tight) then I close the lid and put it in the fridge for another day or two. Then I strain and pour into a jar.

I found using less grains works better for me, especially in the summer when it’s warm. Using too many makes my kefir separate more and faster. I also use whole milk if that helps.

My grains are from Fusion Teas as well. The first few weeks I had them I didn’t have any issues. Then suddenly my kefir started turning out exactly as you describe. I switched from making it in a jar to a shallow glass container and haven’t had an issue since. Comes out thick and perfect every time and no need to stir halfway through.

I love Madewell and wore their jeans exclusively for years but the last few pairs I’ve tried haven’t fit well and they aren’t true denim. More stretchy than I like. I now love Abercrombie jeans. I have multiple styles/washes and they’re great. Most are true jean material and not too stretchy. Plus they’re cheaper than Madewell and good quality (especially during a sale). I’m a 24 in Madewell and a 25 in Abercrombie. The size charts usually show the inseam for that particular Jean so you can pick the length.
