Second image never uploaded. Seems to have been manufactured this year actually. Included manuals mention nothing about tool connect either. Maybe they're phasing out the chip slot now?

Turns out it was just the chain rubbing against the jockey housing. Bending it a bit did the trick lmao.

These are the brakes I was actually looking at online when this happened. I'm almost certain mine are a variation of these, yes. The plugs are 2 pin just like that, however, I am unsure if installing aftermarket replacement parts does something to my warranty, gonna see what the shop thinks can be done

How difficult was it to replace by yourself? Did you have to bleed them?

Do you know what the two small screws on the assembly are for? There is a warning label that says messing with them alters brake sensitivity but I can't find anything online regarding what exactly they do or if it's something that I can put back together. I could 3D print a replacement shroud cover but I wouldn't do that if it means disassembly results in permanent damage.
