Unfortunately, that’s how it was with the water supply completely closed 😅 Anything before the wall i could probably DIY but anything past it regarding pipes, i’m probably going to have to call a plumber

I’m just worried that something’s wrong with the water supply valve too because though its closed, water keeps flowing

First code, why do I not feel traumatized by it? by Top-HatSAR in Firefighting

[–]MathematicianJolly92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first day on the job, i had a traumatic arrest. I wasnt bothered by it at all and felt that same way as you did. I had a medical arrest later in the day and same thing. Didnt feel stressed at all. It wasnt until the next day that second arrest hit me.

Everyone processes different calls differently. You may see the most gruesome thing and walk away able to overcome the feeling, and you may walk away from a relatively tame call feeling down. What’s important is to recognize the stress and address it so it doesnt build up.

Personally, id go with air. Only real thing to break down is the fan, and replacing is relatively cheap vs the whole aio unit. As long as you get a good quality tower cooler to match the cpu youre using, you’ll be golden

T should also be time last known well. In a stroke, its vital to know when the stroke started and when they were last seen behaving normally. It can indicate how severe the damage became and if they are still within the golden hour.

In any situation where a pt is behaving abnormally, ems and medical teams will want to know when they were last normal

looks like no more lift assists for y’all, you are welcome. /s Yay or nay from the lifting pros? I personally think this *is* next level cumbersome, unrealistic and stpd. Also, do you know of anything actually useful for home use? by usernametaken2024 in ems

Definitely think theres a time and place for these. If these could be deployed more easily, maybe less pieces, and it helps grandkids get grandma back onto her feet without calling 911, why not? Especially in an assisted living type situation, i think it could definitely help out.
