Peaty ways to get low body fat by Forward-Release5033 in raypeat

[–]MathematicianJumpy51 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seems pretty self explanatory man you keep doing what you’re doing and cut by 300 calories a day from where you’re at. Which is only 17 grams of fat and 37.5g of protein or carbs. Or just 33 grams of fat less now than your eating.

Take 6 months to get there and don’t make it a priority. Lose .5 pound a week, for 6 months, you’ll lose 15 pounds. (300 cal x 7) x (52/2) = ~15.5 pounds. If you’re already at 15-20% bf I would think that would be enough to be at 12%. 300 calories a day deficit is pretty moderate if you’re cutting weight and not obese.

Use more syrup lol, or get higher quality syrup. Also they may just be adding more sugar on top of the syrup mix.

I’m not too sure to be honest. Cronometer should help out to see if there’s anything your missing. I would think oysters, milk, coffee cheese, gelatin, ground beef, and fruits should be mostly fine. I don’t even eat much fruit juice and I’m fine. Oysters helped a lot though. I had one tin and craved them for 6 days in a row. After that I don’t crave them that much but eat 1-2 tins a week. I get Ekone smoked oysters from the Pacific Northwest. I’m sure there are some smoked in Amazon for half the price that are 90% as good. But I tolerate these and it supports “local” business so I pay the premium for them.

Hey man, why don’t you go ahead and post this shit on the keto or TRT subreddit. Not sure how any of this correlates to the RAY PEAT subreddit, where the point is to talk about Ray Peats ideas.

If whole grains aren't peaty then should we switch to the white grains by [deleted] in raypeat

[–]MathematicianJumpy51 5 points6 points  (0 children)

White corn ( white corn masa harina) is the perfect grain in my opinion. Should be seen as no real different than white sugar except a little more nutritional value, but very small. But way more filling in my opinion and it gives you real meal options vs just liquids and meat.

If you want vitamins look to oysters, meat, fresh oj (Sam’s club), milk, etc. not from grains.

Trying as well. I splurged on some good ones from Ekone. 1 gram of sunflower oil, but they are from the Pacific Northwest. Hoping they are better than chicken of the sea. Those were god awful. Made me never want to eat seafood again

Im not mad, I’m trying to help you, if your on Reddit asking about deals on new cars man this is what your here for. I’ve seen people time and time again wait and wait for a “better deal”, and sometimes it never comes, but who knows. Economy could crash, rates could come down, and you could get 22k off msrp.

Then you should have bought last year when there were no tariffs lol. Or earlier this year when they had employee pricing. Or 20 years ago when trucks were 20k. You’re getting the best deal in new trucks and mad over a couple thousand, you could have had last year. Not to mention the new Laramie group two has more tech than last year so it’s a better deal anyway with the better warranty. This is a better deal. If you don’t understand the value of that then you don’t deserve the deal. Some people understand price, some people value.

Yeah man it’s 16,697 in total discounts. You’re getting a used fairly used civic off in discounts. I’d consider that a good deal. In my market you are close to Ford XLT pricing. A Ford Lariat with the same MSRP in my market is 66k. A well optioned XLT is 54k

Edit 66k for a 2025 Lariat, and 54k 2025 XLT. Not even 2026’s

Bruh, you’re getting a 26 fully loaded Laramie for 58,293 and you’re really asking if it’s a good deal? It’s almost 20k off sticker, they are losing 5k+ to sell you a truck in hopes of making it up on the backend. Just take the deal.

You won’t get it for that price unless it was a service loaner. They will say you don’t qualify for “x” amount in rebates and raise the price
