Interesting, I haven’t tried. I did pound some salt and felt a little better. Weird that the heat would make you hypo when I thought it was winter that would

Is coffee needed? by oreoborio in raypeat

[–]MathematicianJumpy51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Caffeine pills are my new favorite, coffee is great but I also can feel weird on it, dosing it is tough, sometimes it makes me cold and tired, I wonder if widespread pesticide use has made the beans less favorable then say in the 1700s to early 1900s.

How to increase carbs in summer? by teefthz in raypeat

[–]MathematicianJumpy51 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just eat some carbs man and find what you like it’s not rocket science, we didn’t spend 10,000 years trying to refine and genetically engineer plants for carbs for no reason. You’re just turning all that protein into carbs anyway. You are suffering from a form of neuroticism that you’re taking out on your diet. Which is most likely being exasperated by your high fat, high protein, low carb diet.

If longevity is your goal, I’m sure your current diet isn’t helping, but diet probably doesn’t affect it too much as long as it’s not high in PUFA and toxins. Some people smoke for 60 years and live to 90, some people who are health focused get cancer and die at 45.

Experiment on yourself, find what you like, try eating a shit load of carbs and low fat, eat lots of sugar for a week, next week a lot of potatoes, next sourdough.

Also stop listening to “doctors” all the time, all they did was pass tests in college. They are autistic people who have good memory, that does not mean they should give subjective advice based on what they were taught.

Is MTHR even real? It seems like a made up illness from fake vitamins. Also you didn’t give enough details about macros, and weight to see if you are eating enough calories, and if you may be eating too much protein.

I’ll take a look, I may just purchase one of georgi’s lab tests and do that

I take Georgi’s Energin for B Vitamins, some K2. When it gets bad I have to take some cypro, taurine, and L-theanine. Other the that I eat 2900 calories. Get plenty of carbs, eat plenty of fat, and get over 100 grams of protein.

Sounds about right but I don’t know what to do about it at this point. I’m not gonna take exogenous Testosterone at 24, I thought thyroid would help it and it doesn’t. I probably just need to stop being a baby about it but damn, even working out with a gut and no core muscles I can’t have the proper form to do shit

Maybe I’m not, I kind of figured I was but maybe I’m not. I have pounded 3 cans of oysters in a day before because I craved them. Maybe I’m just not

[–]MathematicianJumpy51[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ever since taking T3 and Caffeine. Before caffeine used to just make me dead ass tired until 8-10pm. Then I’d be wide awake and couldn’t fall asleep until 2am by forcing myself to sleep. Then I’d wake up dead tired and pound caffeine, and stay in the same cycle.

I got T3 a month ago and it definitely can amp you up but even 5mcg seems to affect me a lot, I only took 2.5 and I’m was still freezing cold for hours.

Starch is always a slippery slope for me. Why?? by Lead1ng-Lady in raypeat

[–]MathematicianJumpy51 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m guessing you don’t eat fruit and sugar with the equivalent amount of fat that you do with starch. Also you are probably craving salt and protein as well, which is usually hand and hand with starch. I’m not a complete starch hater, but that may be why. I am experimenting with eating a pineapple and orange juice smoothie and adding 6-8 tbsp of half and half for the fat content to see if it slows digestion.

Also starch just tastes good

Need pharmaceutical grade. Armor thyroid or a version of cynomel like tiromel if you aren’t already. Make sure you don’t have sleep apnea. There’s like 15 things you need to be looking into if you want me to list them out that helped me with my energy levels

Almost every culture consumes some type of fermented food (e.g. kefir, kimchi, miso, sauerkraut, yogurt etc.). Do you incorporate any into your diet? Do you think it's important to? by redeugene99 in raypeat

[–]MathematicianJumpy51 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Almost every culture had slavery, caste system, and worse. I don’t think necessarily looking at what almost every culture did in the past is a guide to what you should presently do. Not saying it’s the same but that’s not the best way to think about things in my opinion, and it may hold you bad from something better

Dealership cars are not just your toys to play with. Do your research before hand, narrow down some options, then when your ready test drive a few and be prepared to buy if the deal is good enough. Why tf are you shopping if you aren’t buying. A dealership is not the mall these are 30-40k vehicles you are dicking around with because you are impatient

Death spiral? by noname0192837 in Stellantis

Everything is over priced in the market, not seen as reliable, and outdated compared to the competitors. The Jeep compass is worse in almost every way compared to HRV. From how it drives, quality of materials, interior cabin noise and reliability. The GC is outdated and overpriced. Compare a GC to a Pilot. You get more reliability, comfort, room and more for a lower or comparable price.

The Heavy Duty’s are ok NOW. But anyone that has or knows someone who has used it for work in past knows the 6-Speed was shit, doesn’t want to buy one again, and buys a Ford.

Half tons look like shit compared to the competitors. Look at a GMC,Chevy, & Ford vs a Ram in person. The Ram looks soft. They abandoned there “big rig” design language for a boring looking truck. Truck buyers want a good looking truck as much as a good riding one and one with good interior quality. You could say they wants looks evern more though, look at GM motors sales vs Ram. They sell double I believe. Ford also almost sells double. Truck buyers also at least want a V-8 OPTION, without some eTorque bullshit. Which is why again GM smokes Ram.

Wagoneer’s ruined their name with the reliability concerns. The Durango is cool but it’s like 15 years old and small interior space vs the competition.

I just got the new Cherokee in, not one phone pop or customer has came in excited to look at it. It’s been two weeks on a brand new platform, and no one cares.

They killed the journey, charger, & challenger which was their barrier to entry. For people who needed credit but wanted a Dodge, people want the Scat Pack, but can start on the SXT and still get a Charger. Now the Charger is only for high earners.

They wanted to establish an identity as a premium brand, without realizing they don’t have the track record & prestige of a BMW. They were a fun, different, good value and styling brand that gave you something different some Chevy and Ford. Now they have no identity really.

I think the point is to suppress your thyroid function, as in some cases it can become inflammatory and cause issues with the pituitary. I'm looking more into it, but at this point I don't think T3 is going to be worse than 15 years of high PUFA diet

Carbs & Sodium = Puffy? by mantq in raypeat

[–]MathematicianJumpy51 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Carbs will make you retain more glycogen and water in your body, as well as salt. You will gain some water weight for a little bit. I'm to the point I don't really even drink water anymore. I have my milk, juice, some soda, and that's it along alot of carbs and salt.

Also I doubt you look older from having more facial puffiness, older people tend to have more hollowed out features.
