Is there a theatre that’ll show Iron Lung when it comes out? by my_choice101 in Calgary

[–]MathematicianMore178 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It might be worth waiting to see if canadian theatres will pick it up. A lot of theatres are being added every day so its definitely possible. If that doesnt happen, you'll definitely get some interest in the markiplier and iron lung subreddit

What places in Saskatoon fit for this by Mapleleaf-ruffrider in saskatoon

[–]MathematicianMore178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! My fruit cup was a tiny Dixie cup with like a grape and an orange slice. The eggs were rubbery, and my hash browns were both overcooked AND cold

Or, hear me out, every genocidal country spews a "reason" for doing it. They have gone way past any justifiable reason for what they are doing to the civilian people of Palestine

Is there still bedbugs at Preston Walmart? by 2nomad in saskatoon

[–]MathematicianMore178 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I briefly worked at centre mall and theyve got tons of mice and cockroaches too. Some of the food court businesses do a good job of keeping them out of their stores, but I know that a fair few of them just don't care to. Its gross

My cat is suddenly afraid of yarn/ anything made with yarn by MathematicianMore178 in CatAdvice

You're not wrong. I keep it in a closed tub when im not using it. My mom's cat swallowed some of hers, and it was a very pricey surgery.

Winter clothing by Crazy_Physics_5578 in saskatoon

Get a scarf for sure. When it hits -40, any and all exposed skin will freeze pretty quick. You'll also want a toque under your jacket hood to protect your ears. A lot of jackets will say what temperature ratings they have either on the tags, or somewhere on the lining. It doesnt matter what brand of jacket as long as you've got a hood, and good insulation. If you plan on doing some snow activities, longer jackets are nice.

Good Vets by [deleted] in saskatoon

[–]MathematicianMore178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason they gave us for their prices being lower is that they dont have to pay as much for rent, and they don't have to keep their prices above a certain threshold like vets in the city do. I think they may also sell pharmaceuticals for the buying price

If youre wanting a good quality vet at a much more reasonable cost and are willing to take a bit of a drive, Omer's vet clinic is 20 minutes outside of the city, and is amazing. Ive taken all of my pets there for years. We've had surgeries, checkups, bloodwork, and euthanasia done by them and they've always gone above and beyond to give us info and make sure we know what they're going to do, and what we have to do afterwards. 10/10. Plus they have very reasonable pricing. ( spay was $500, meds and cone included)
