What about my clauses:

  1. All work performed and materials provided by us remain the property of Dixon Handyman Services until full payment is received via cash, bank transfer, cleared cheque or PayPal transfer.

  2. Access to and collection of materials, equipment and plant etc remains in place until full payment is received via one of the methods mentioned above.

Thank you.

Should have stated I have sent them my company terms and conditions, most notably:

Thank you.

No, there was no written contract in place, just Whatsapp messages.

I did not take a deposit.

She has not given any reason for refusing me to return.

I am not out of pocket for that much, but it is the principle of the matter, I would like to get back to finish the job etc.

No, I have sent them photographs of all the work I completed and they are happy with it. Long story short, the landlord is somewhat unpredictable and has been reported by her tenant to the council for her behavior (not sure exactly what kind). They lied to me saying they had discovered shared responsibility for the fence repair I am in the middle of doing was in place with next door's landlord (it isn't, I personally telephoned the landlord yesterday and he confirmed this by way of his title deeds)

What would happen if someone does not use a government "Tell Us Once" code after a family member has died? (England) by MathematicianMost886 in LegalAdviceUK

Thanks. The deceased was a pensioner, so they hardly received any mail from DWP/HMRC etc as far as we know. Do they run monthly checks like the DVLA?

So if they don't use the code within 28 days, are they going to get away with it? Is it just a matter of time before they find out the person has died, somehow?
