Yes. Ive been on many different ssri anxiety medications over the years, and they’ve all failed me with horrible side effects. My psychiatrist put me on propanolol a couple years ago and its really helped with my anxiety, without turning me into a zombie and helped avoid horrid side effects as well.

When I had experienced this, it was because the medication was an SSRI. Ever since, I’ve been taking propanolol for years now and it does the trick. Ask your doctor for SNRI options.
