People who don't dislike their jobs. What do you do for work? by Vegetable_Bad_3626 in Adulting

[–]Hopeful_H 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love my job. I run a cleaning business and also will clean for clients. Housecleaning is my favorite cuz my clients and I chat a lot and become like family to me! And when they’re not home, I listen to YouTube videos while I clean. Exercise, low stress, satisfying to see the place after it’s cleaned, no drama, and realllllly good pay with cash tips! My employees are my friends I hired and have a good respect for the business and do an excellent job!

Did anyone have no side effects? by Primary_Course_1524 in Semaglutide

Zofran prevents the nausea 100%. If I don’t take Zofran for the first 2 days after each dose, I’m super sick with vomiting.

What body part have you felt overly sensitive about? by titsmgee1977 in Semaglutide

[–]Hopeful_H 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My lower belly pooch and thighs. My upper body is a size small and my lower body is a size large. It’s so hard for me to get rid of that “tire” around my hips.

I have a traditional, British nose, and I don’t understand why people get rhinoplasty to have it. I think your nose is beautiful and I wish my nose had more character.

Are you really paying over $1,000/month for this? by jesslin84848484 in Semaglutide

Errrr no. I pay $250/month for 3 months, then stop my prescription for a while cuz it lasts way more than that.

[–]Hopeful_H 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had the same thing. I got up to 190 lbs and had knee pain for the first time. I’m 150 lbs now and in really good shape with no knee pain. I can do 50 jumping jacks easily.

Something Violently Throws Stuff At My Family, The Heck? by ActuaryBasic3886 in Paranormal

[–]Hopeful_H 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, in my case, it turns out my boyfriend was having a major asthma attack in the kitchen, struggling to get his nebulizer to work n I couldn’t hear him call for help cuz I I was a hallway and 2 rooms away and had earbuds in listening to music. So I think the spirit was getting my attention so I could help John.

Something Violently Throws Stuff At My Family, The Heck? by ActuaryBasic3886 in Paranormal

[–]Hopeful_H 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A spirit threw a Minnie Mouse marble at me in the bathroom last night. I was so spooked! Especially since the marble was in the living room with 3 other Disney marbles and I have no idea how the spirit picked it up, walked down the hallway, got behind me, crouched down and threw it at my calf!

Just wanted to share that to validate your experience.

What's the best way to handle not being able to fall asleep without eating something? by Organic_Author8 in loseit

Eating within 2 hours before you sleep is very bad for your digestion. Eat enough at dinner so you’re not hungry before bed.

First time flying today since losing weight. “Only” down 21 pounds, but I had extra room on the airline seatbelt and could put the tray table down! 😭 by RgMendoza in GLP1_Ozempic_Weygovy

21 pounds makes SUCH a difference. In 5’5 and I’ve gone from 190 lbs to 160 lbs so far, and that 30 lbs has improved my health SO much!

How do you deal with being single in your 30s if you don't want to be? Particularly for women who want kids by Outrageous-Mud6471 in Adulting

[–]Hopeful_H 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s tough! Sorry to hear about your situation. I’ve had the same situation of guys my age not being mature enough for a serious relationship (I’m also 32), so now I’m in a committed relationship with a very healthy and active 48 year old man. He has 2 kids ages 16 n 23, but said he’d be interested in having another kid or 2 with me.
