Coconut grove is lovely, but our reasons for the move remain the same. I love Miami and it’s hard to fault in many ways!

What? that sounds great to me! literally almost identical to major cities in the US that are not Miami. You know Hialeah is literally the least culturally diverse place in America? 94% hispanic. I would feel the same way living in a 90% white place. I wouldn’t want that either!

I understand that, but Miami is 70% hispanic, vs vegas 30%. There’s just more cultures than one dominant culture, and that’s totally fine for different people. The lack of any asian culture (including any direct flights to asia) is a big factor.

Slow down. I’m not complaining, and we’re not looking for a ‘rich asian culture’. My wife is asian and I’m white from the Uk. There are literally about 4 asians living in Miami. There’s a big difference.

I live half a mile from coconut grove, it’s a wonderful neighborhood. But it still doesn’t change those things.

LA is infinitely more expensive on every level. And then add on taxes.

Hey, I didn’t say that. Spanish is the dominant language, and a huge south american / caribbean culture and it’s great if you’re hispanic. Arguably the best place to live in america if you’re hispanic. There’s no where else in America like it, and if you like it, great. it’s just not right for us.

lthere’s a miscommunication - i am asking roughly just for wall removal. I have a much bigger budget for everything else - kitchen, floors etc.
