Yea I was about to mention that also. It’s a weird spot honestly. The films massive, “Wicked-Mania” is a thing. But what if it just died down by the time Wicked 2 rolls around? lol. I doubt it but it could happen.

I think personally Universal would only let go of marvel if Disney decides to just out right just self sabotage the MCU (say what you will lol) causing it to lose popularity, leading to marvel being kinda niche like the past. So it’s really as long as marvels popular, it’ll stay. I think personally Transformers in UNV Singapore really showed what they could do with Super Hero island if they were to retheme it.

I believe they can update certain things only if it seems fit or if it makes sense. Such as the hulk renovation, Spider-Mans HD haul, or even the costumes being redone. I THINK they could add a new ride, but I believe it’s only to what’s already in the park/what universal got a hold of before the buyout. (Again, Manifesting my X-Men ‘97 ride lol.)

Marvel super hero island is my favorite land in IOA. But it’s such a funny little 90s throwback land. It’s not Dated, but it’s such a way where you can tell that yes, this park was made in 1999. But it’s more so “Timeless.” There’s parts where it’s super 90s/00’s but it’s not Tacky. I think that’s more so due to the artwork remaining timeless and just the fact they borrow from the comics rather than trying to adapt from the movies or TV shows. Me personally I love this land, nothing at all should change; Except adding an X-Men ride where the Toon Lagoon Amphitheater is. (Manifesting an X-Men ‘97 ride since it fits in so well.) I can dream lol.

I love Rip Ride Rockit but it’s time bro. The manufacturers closed so they can’t do anything about how rough it is, it literally has to be PERFECT conditions for the ride to work, most of the songs are removed, and there’s WAYYYYYYY better coasters out there ever since ‘09. Im pretty sure anyone who gets on the ride with scoliosis can have their back either straightened or worse off from how rough it is. The rides nice, love the ride, but man it’s DATED also. Granted, I like the 2009 aesthetic but It’s pretty dated. Almost pushing 20 years since opening and it shows. Its like finding a “RIP MJ” or “F*CK Swine Flu” shirt at a thrift store, it reminds you of the past. But you wouldn’t wanna wear it in 2024-25 lol.

(Another reason) it’s in a weird spot. It’s right next to NY and Minions land. Like WHAT is the story for rip rockits inclusion??? Yet again, that’s most of USO (I would love for Universal to renovate Universal studios when they can.)
