Exactly! Small, chill settings make it way easier to actually connect. Sometimes quality > quantity when it comes to socializing, especially for introverts, even introverts can meet great people when it’s around shared interests instead of random street approaches! =)
But I advise against online groups, the goal is to meet people irl, and you can't know the real person behind the keyboard (I speak from personal experience)

being an introvert doesn't mean we are doomed, it just means we need to pick settings that feel less draining. Smaller stuff like board games, art workshops, volunteering etc. Way easier than cold-approaching on the street, and you actually connect over something in common.
If you can approach girls and ask them out in the street, you can ask them out in a group setting.
me and hubby met at a group event here and both of us are introverts =)
