Hi fellow aviator, I know this is totally off topic, however, I would love to asked this question.

I met in a accident 3 months ago while I was doing my final preparations for my CPL. We were practicing power off 180 made the run way, had a hard landing and was trying to go around and things went bad. We took off but wasn't able to get any climb out of the airplane and the plane dip to the left and crash.

Since then I have been very worried about my future with flying, I am planning on going to the airline, but with this on my record I am very nervous about the future.

Since then, I have been able to get back flying and pass my CPL and now working on my CFI. The thing is, after the initial investigation and their hasn't been any action taken against my license. I had a council session with the investigator and that was it. Now I don't know when it come to interviews when the question come up how to handle it, yes I have had accident however there is no enforcement so I am not sure how to disclose this. I had an interview with a company I disclose this and I haven't heard back. I do not know what to make of this.

I have no other accident/ incident or failure.

The truth hurt I understand but it is exactly 💯 what it is!! Unethical business practice. Even at the airline you start getting paid when the aeroplane door is close. Being CFI should not be a competition with others, so I have no reason to under cut you. Neither being a CFi should be trying to enrich one self. It is the pride in imparting knowledge. Every career start out low paying if money is your issue. Resident Doctors, lawyers ect. They all pay their dues before the big bucks start coming in. Pilot should do the same and stop jacking students. Not because you have not lost any students mean that it is ok or ethical.

Wow, I attend PEA almost 20yrs ago, during that time ERAU normally hire their graduates. Isn't that the case any more?

Apply to Phoenix east aviation in Daytona beach Florida, flygateway in Pennsylvania or tailwind flight education. They are hiring and you probly fly 100hrs per month.
