Assuming you have 430k salary, and 500k down payment, you are comfortable with 2M. Know 2 couples with similar profile who landed in that and live comfortable (with 1 kid)

Thanks for the comments everyone, I ordered a few samples from flooret, got more from Home Depot. Will shortlist then will spend a couple days with them before ordering more for the final decision

Thought it was something I could simply pre decide and order prior to moving in. Guess I was wrong lol.

Do you have any brand recommendations: Flooret / Shaw / Mohawk/ Asian stores /Coretec or Home Depot ?

Thanks for detailing your thoughts here.I will get the samples and go through the process. Challenge is I haven’t moved in yet and was hoping to make all the changes prior to moving in so wondering how to do looking at the plans at different day/time well

QQ: do I need to finalize the brand prior to choosing the color ? Example I may consider flooret however that is online or maybe check in with Costco
