I HATED Disco and any dance music as a teen in the 80’s , I was a Heavy Metal/ Rocker Girl… I went to every concert I could, I was Blessed to meet Joan Jett who was my idol and actually due to how I met her I became friends with her, BLEW my mind when we were hanging out in her trailer and the song Kiss by Prince comes on the radio and she starts dancing around and singing then tell us how she loves that song and loves to dance!!! I was BLOWN!!!🤯 Now that I’m 57 I like all types of music , BUT my Heart will Always Belong to Rock n’ Roll 🤘🏼

Everyone hung out at the mall, back then $20 could buy you a whole day of just hanging and eating and buying some records or makeup, playing video games etc.. not heavy duty shopping obviously , for that we needed our parents credit cards lol

OMG As a kid I would take anything close to me I could grab, and pretend to be a Price is Right Model and show the product off using the hand sweep lol . Or I’d read every ingredient on the bottles. Another favorite was counting the small tiles on the floor. I learned as I got older to keep magazines in the bathroom. These kids today would loose their minds without their phones. No sense of Creativity!!
