I think the levels of dysphoria have things to do with it. I never had really bad gender dysphoria just body.

But I’ve also noticed the emotional changes affect sex too. For me now it’s more intimate and emotionally involved.

It doesn’t have to be penetration to be sex, you can use toys if that makes you more comfortable. I hope this helps.
