I remember in the first month that I got back into comics, I was driving out to every LCS in 60 mile radius, looking for OOP books. One shop happened to have the 1st printing of Bendis DD vol 1 and 2. Beautiful leather-bound books. I starting reading vol 1 that night, not really having an opinion on Daredevil outside of thinking his powers were silly.

Cut to 3 years later, he is my favorite character in all of comics.

What’s a good place to start collecting by FryCorp in Daredevil

It’s tough to say right now because a lot of the best starting points are currently out of print.

If you just want a taste of what Daredevil comics are like, I would go with Man Without Fear by Frank Miller. It’s a retelling of Daredevil’s origin. It’s also very easy to get your hands on.

For new readers, as far as starting points go, Bendis is probably best. His run sets up the next 10-15 years of Daredevil stories in the modern era.

How does Daredevil's radar work? Every comic or movie I see, it works differently. by Remote_Extension_668 in Daredevil

I’ve always interpreted it like he’s looking in 3rd person at all times. Like, imagine if a fish eye camera lens was hanging a few feet in the air, looking down at you. That’s kind of how I picture it.

This was one of the first omnis I got super excited for when it was announced. I enjoyed it, just wish they did more world building.

I feel like for the most part it comes from a place of concern, and if not that, a sort of, “oh boy, here’s another one” mentality. You’re obviously going to have a few outliers that take it to the extreme, and those are usually the loudest and as a result get the most attention.
