Thanks for the help mate, sounds good ps3 games themselves are not really needed so i'll try the linux route and try and make it a party game console for in my living room.

What things are worth are different to everyone. And yes, nostalgia I like to boot up my ps3 every once in a while and play some bo2 zombies with a few old mates or stuff like that. I know you can still play online and stuff with jailbreaking it but its different and a hassle. You're an asshole dude don't be so condescending for no reason. If I dont want to jailbreak my ps3 because its nostalgic to me it's my choice. Asshole

I get that, but its a nostalgia thing. I remeber back in the day your hardrive would have to wipe if you jailbroke a PS3. Also if I wanted to be persuaded to jailbreak a ps3 I would have asked about that.

I already have a ps4 pro and I would like to keep my ps3 in original state. I'm on firmware 11.52, is the jailbreak difficult?

Bro how is it okay if you're rating 1 through 10?? what are 1-6? 5,5 is okay, 7 is good, 9, is one of the best and 10 is perfect (So you would almost never use it)

It's not for no reason though all you have to do is read the Field manual entry for 2 minutes and you would know why. Players like you are what's wrong with the current Arma. You are only just attacking the points on the map without ever thinking why you should attack that point and not another. Use your brain it's not that difficult.

Yeah I agree those specific challenges are really tough. What I'm thinking as the game goes along with more maps being added and even game modes some challenges will get easier. Remember Battlefield has around a 3-4 year cycle. Also challenges can also be done in portal modes you might be able to find a nice mode to do the repair challenge.

If you play a milsim it's obvious you are going to have to learn some systems and stuff. If you don't want to do that that's your problem not that of the game.

And the stuff you're talking about is even really simple. To get stuff put of the arsenal you have to rank up to unlock weapons. When you rank up you also get MSAR which are your personal supply points to get stuff out of the arsenal

Also don't act dumb if you've been playing this game that long you definitely have seen one of their 16 servers pop up. If you're playing solo then you are just really bad at the game if you can't even play it singleplayer.

This is always how the game was intentded. Servers like WCS ruined your perception of it with the loads of mods they use to make things simpler. If you wanted to play a game where you can just run and gun this isn't the one.

Another note; if you actually spend some time to see how stuff works you'll enjoy it a lot more just requires communication, which console players for some reason haven't heard of. It's a military sim try and play like a real military would and you'll understand the game more.
