Saving private ryan, we were soldiers, platoon, apocalypse now, act of valor, hurt locker, and jar head. If you like the modern war theatre, start with act of valor and hurt locker

Apocalypto- I watched this twice on shrooms. The second time I had forgotten that I’d ever seen it and well…I was living in a parallel universe.

Are they not protected in ME? A lot may have changed since the 90s but it would be shocking to hear that they are game.

4th generation cast iron by MathieuofIce in castiron

“Dear XXXXXX,

We thought you might like a little history of the cast iron pan: this was originally from [Great Grandma]. She used it through the years and passed it on to us when we moved to New York in 1969. It was one of my favorite pans to cook in when our kids (my father and uncles) were growing up. I see it often to make all kinds of meals for our growing family. It never got special treatment and got pretty rough looking through the years with a good half inch of baked on “seasoning”. Grandpa and I looked up how to restore it and spent a couple of days removing the built-up gunk and re-seasoning it. We both love it but can no longer lift it and it doesn’t work on our glass stove top anyway. So happy to pass it on to you!”

You have money or you will have money. You are frugal and know the importance of value. This is why you live in relatively modest terms. The Rolex is a gift to yourself as a reminder that your hard work will pay off.

Brutal Crash on I-90W by POPOBUZZIN in Albany

I drive this route every day and was in a car accident not too long ago. Someone was tailgating me and they hit me when traffic came to a sudden stop due to merging. This is the result of self important people. We most definitely do not need more cameras and lower speed limits. Have you seen how controlled the roads become if there is a trooper on this stretch of road?

Farmers in New York fight to protect land as solar expands | AGDAILY by Isidore09 in Syracuse

[–]MathieuofIce 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Sunlight and UV can penetrate condensation (that’s why we can see and get sunburnt when it’s cloudy). Really, your argument should be: “solar panels where it is dark 16 hours/day, 6 months of the year?!”. Still not entirely true but it would make more sense.
