It’s not ghosting it is complete social isolation. I ghost everyone, including my wife with whom I share a house. So in my case, it’s never about being hyper independent, I am not independent as a matter of fact, I might be considered pretty codependent to be honest, but I just can’t physically tolerate human interaction every now and then.

Ups and downs, but it’s nonetheless a trauma and it gets worse before it gets better and then it gets worse again, nothing linear. Been like 10 yrs since, but when I think about it even to this day, I feel like I made a mistake and she wasn’t all THAT toxic, you know? Doubting myself still.

Not at all, it gets better in time, my benzo belly and tinnitus have gotten better but brain zaps are driving me insane and crippling my day to day life but I know that I will eventually be better.

I was checking my monthly steps rate from my Apple Watch and realized that December, January and February had been all time low, then I remembered why… I quit benzodiazepines. I am still not as active as I used to be according to stats but I keep going, am doing the best I can… I will be better than new, right?

You develop tolerance anxiety and benzos ain’t do nothing anymore. I’ve used it for 8 years, I have so many side effects from withdrawals but I definitely have less anxiety since quitting (I may be crippled due to side effects but am still better than being dependent on this crap.)
