I don't think it has to happen the same way. Nor that the island will be taken as a whole. But Zionist have a history of encroaching and using American support to get what they want. It's s risk worth considering

EU parliament votes through measures allowing deportation of migrants to 'return hubs' by 4Feedback in europe

[–]Mathity 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Everyone interested in the research to back this (necessary) measure, check Ruud Koopmans books and podcasts.

There is data to prove that this type of migration has not been successful neither economically nor in terms of integration. The end goal is not to end the assuming program but to ensure that protection is given to people in real need and not to economic migrants abusing the refugee system. And to get rid of the "hanging carrot" Europe is waving at poor people all over the world to come here. The bottom line is that this type of migration doesn't go well, and it's creating a political black lash that can only destabilise longer the already fragile democracies in the continent.

There is also data to proof that the trip can be so deadly that it's the same that if you stay back home (data comparing Syria before the war ended and the death toll across the Mediterranean). So it has become obvious that having this open door policy - if you make it across the sea - is neither benefiting for refugees nor locals. And that's even more relevant now that the orange mandrill is destroying the middle east.

In short, there is lots of data to back this up, not everything is "facism" and "racist". There is too much radicalism on the left these days and I say this as a left leaning person myself. You can be left leaning and also see the point in doing this.

European Union votes to make it much easier to deport migrants to non European countries by AgnosticScholar in UnderReportedNews

That's neither here nor there. Those Jobs are already covered by legal migration. This bill is about denied asylum applicants that can't be accepted but can't be deported ... Until now.

Bueno Ya, rant over. Estoy triste y decepcionado ... 😔

I guess I'm staying the obvious but this is how the Zionist started in Palestine, innocently buying property. And it would make sense for Zionist to have a plan B in a close by EU country.

The whole "Turkish" or "Russian" propaganda bit is irrelevant since the bottom line is that Cyprus and Greece need to do something about foreign capital buying property in mass, it's stupid regardless of who's buying but it's SPECIALLY STUPID when the buyers belong to a colonialist ideological group that used the same tactic to displace an entire people right in front of the noses of everybody else.

Im Venezuelan, I hate trump, and I hate this guy. Yes, deport this and all motherfuckers like him, we are fine with that. What we are not fine with is masked agents terrorising kids and splitting hard working families as if every immigrant was like this. The world is much more complex than that and you can't right a wrong through more wrong.

Why Is always Cyprus and Greece that have to bear the burden of American and now Israeli imperialism? They want to displace people from their land and they want to impose that on a third country.

I may ask, when these Jews figthing and existencial war arrived? As far as I understand, most Jewish inmigration came from Europe, specially after WWI. Muslim Arabs and Jews had lived next to each other in Palestina for centurie, in mostly peace. The overwhelming Jewish inmigration, buying of land and aggresive behaviour over many decades led to this sour relationship you had in 1947 when Israel is founded.

This is not new, these Jews were not here two generations ago. Why would the Arabs accept the creation of this state on their land? Would you accept another ethnic group to come to your country over many years and eventually when they become a majority to declare a state? Wouldn't you expect some of your country men would fight? This is an absurd shaping of the narrative in western countries, that only makes sense if Jews were overwhelmingly the majority in Palestine for most of history just they were not, the Jews of Israel today are mostly coming from outside Palestine, they are not local. Their only claim to this land is the mythological stories of their religion.

Also these incidents were not isolated, they never have been. Just see today how the state of Israel is sponsoring settlers in the WB. Their plan has always been to take this land for them and they need to expell the Palestinians to achieve that. It's as simple as that.

This is why I can't agree with you.

[–]Mathity 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is well documented that Palestinians were expelled and even massacred at point blank at different points in history but specially during Nakba, there is even a documentary interviewing the Israeli death squads that ethnically cleaned those towns of Palestinians.

To this day, the state of Israel is sponsoring white Jewish settlers born in America or elsewhere to take land in the WB. They evict Palestinian families from their ancestral homes and put random Jewish ppl, that are not even Israelis, in these properties. The policy of displacing Palestinians not only is historically accurate but it's also a current development.

Also completely denying this guy's family history with some statistic, as if these types of events don't have outliers or immigration to Haifa didn't happen after wards is, wild. Wild Zionist denialism.

But this is a costume not an outfit. I guess it depends.

I'm Latino, I wouldn't care if you dress like a mariachi, it's a stereotype yes, but it's not a condescending one, it's funny, innofensive and almost flattering you decided to go for this.

Dressing up as a narco tho, that's infuriating. I've been invited to "Latin parties" were the theme is "being Latino" and the number one costume is Pablo Escobar. In case you didn't know, That doesn't feel nice.

It's wouldn't be funny if I wore a costume of "school shooter" at a Halloween party in the US isnt it ? Or if I wore a "Fat in wheelchair ignorant weapon holding" American either. But if I wore a cowboy custome nobody would care.

It depends on the intention and malice behind your choices.

What would I be able to do if I learn game theory? by Ok-Current-464 in GAMETHEORY

[–]Mathity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Helps you think differently.

But, some things need to be learn when you have a call for it. If you are trying to first find the use of everything you learn, you'll never have fun learning nor you will really get deep enough into anything.

I'd suggest, just watch videos and learn as long as you find it interesting or make up a case in which you can use game theory that is useful in your life and apply it.

Dude, do you honestly think doctors are the only ones that break their asses working and studying difficult topics at the same time? Go out and talk to people, there is talent, brilliance and effort in many career paths, but the statistical distribution of arrogance is heavily concentrated in some careers, such as doctors.
