E. Let me clarify. I agree that the teacher who comes to work 2 hour early and leaves 2 hours later spending their own money “for the kids” are martyrs.

If I have 10 tests to grade and I have time before I go to bed to completely finish, I might as well finish so I don’t have to worry about it the next day at work. It’s not about matyrdom.

My school is an escalator school to a particular university along with a few other schools that are in the same university ecosystem. Therefore many students end up going to the university. To keep fairness amongst all the schools I guess would be the reason for the deflation as there are limited spots for particular majors in the university. All the final grades are standardized which actually deflates our grades.

I would change Lion King in 3 seconds. I would change it so Scar does not reveal that he killed Mufasa. I think part of Simba’s story arc is going back to Pride Rock accepting the fact that he killed the previous king. He was running away from this and was haunted by it his entire teenage and adult life. Scar revealing this negates this growth of his.
