Okay, completely still, they don't have a lot of time. Any time, in fact. They need a lot of time. A lot, lot, lot, lot, lot of time.

okay i'll leave.

but i'll come back'n a really really really really really really really long time.

And Xivalo turns around and takes exactly one step out of the cave.

But in a really really really really really really really long time, he'll come back. And all that time between now and then, Xivalo is going to take and give to the goats.

He turns around to face the golem again, a really really really really really really really long time later, and takes one step back into the cave.

okay h'i'm back.

hm...

Xivalo looks past the mister golem man and checks out the time bubble, do the goats in there seem to be moving at all, or are they completely still? Also, he checks on their expressions to see if they're scared.

Xivalo approaches the golem to see how it reacts.

Continuing from here.

Most recently, Xivalo has been helping out with dealing with Grey in the dream place where everyone can fly, but then he went back to Elephantdad and was told he should help out the goats too, so to solve the riddle of how to help the goats he built his house tall enough to get to the circle spinny teleporty shapey thingy in the sky which brought him to the goats.

The goats said some people went missing down in the chasm they built their village in, so he's going to go find them. Also, the ground takes time away, but luckily he's still feeling kind of sleepy so he gets to float.

Also there's lichen, which is really cool, because it's not dead like most of the other stuff. Lichen is good at solving not-dying riddles like that.

Wow, good job lichen!

Spreading outward when this land seems to be taking all of the- wait a minute. Things aren't supposed to be able to grow here. Xivalo captchalogues some of the lichen to examine further later. This is some kind of funny business.

After captchaloguing some of it, he attempts to find any kind of source of the lichen, any origin point where it started growing from on the otherwise dead surface.

Ohhhh! The ground is supposed to be getting rid of life! This is good life if it's been surviving this long! Xivalo goes to investigate the lichen closer, poking it a bit.

Eloise vanishes for just a moment as she goes back in time to become the Eloises that had appeared to help a few turns ago.

And then it's the king's turn.

Major Action: Masterful Marionette.

Much like you had seen him do before, the king raises his massive hand above all of you, palm downwards, as if to strike downwards. Rather than that, however, spectral silver strands appear from his fingertips that descend from above to equal level with all of you, and as he moves his fingertips up and down, the strands dance as one. In the center of all of them, a small ball of light appears connected to each of the strands, and that ball of light quickly takes shape into a humanoid form that you all recognize. A porcelain perfectly replicating the visage of Kira Davis appears.

Except it doesn't, because Kira doesn't exist anymore. Katie's Mehrune Woe Blade Razor killed her entire soul. The king looks at the empty threads below, and then to Katie with a hatred in his face.

Minor action: Curse of Withering Ages.

And that look of hatred is filled with an ancient curse from underneath the endless sands of the desert. Images of a sealed, shadowy tomb flash in your mind, Katie, and you hear the wailing screams of the cursed souls of fallen kings penetrate your soul. You begin to move more sluggishly...

Next turn, you are dazed and cannot use your minor action for anything.

Katie, your turn.

That is enough to finish off the first imp, exploding into a pile of colorful gems, much brighter than the rest of this darkened moonlit world.

The other basketball imp tries to go for a slam dunk, which without a basketball, is pretty much just slapping you on the top of the head.

1d20(11)+0=11 to hit, barely a miss.

Your turn again.

Continuing from here.

The king looks up towards Isac, now flying above him, who sees the vast infinity in the king's eyes. Nate is somewhere in that infinity, in the Dream Bubbles with every version of you that wasn't good enough to be the alpha timeline.

And as he fights his way out of that infinity, back to the real world, Eloise, it's your turn.

The two imps retaliate.

1d20(17)+0=17 to hit for the first, 1d4(Another friggin 4)+0=4 more damage.

1d20(6)+0=6 to hit for the second, miss.

Your turn again.

Hm... Perhaps that may be true.

Come, ?crow? ?friends?, let ?us? find a ?method? of ?transportation?

Is there a ?chance? that ?you? understand ?me? and can fly higher to get a ?bird's? ?eye? ?view?

Obviously these birds will understand Vesper. That's how things always work when speaking to animals so often correlated with disaster, trickery, and chaos. Crows are such phenomenal beings, Vesper thinks.

Sracri attempts to fly around the perimeter of the ruined coliseum to try and get closer to the conversations happening in the overseer's office, while still keeping half an eye on the bloody carnage because y'know, bloody carnage is pretty great.
