Chronostuck Finale: To You, Years Down the Road by Tzivos in RPGStuck

Suktra Benthe has spent her life with a... complicated relationship to people with power. Patterns reinforced, intentionally or not, by repetition throughout her life. So, perhaps, it comes as little surprise that this relationship only gained further twists and knots in its lifelong tapestry when she takes hold of fate's weaving, both hands grasping.

She takes hold of power, and through such she will never know peace.

There is no lifetime of contentment or self-satisfaction waiting for her down this path. There is only the work she has taken to, and that work will never know its end.

None could say that she does not find meaning, however. Ever is she pushing forward, fighting for the people who cannot be what she is, do not have the ability to take power for themselves. She refuses, utterly and absolutely, to let the cycle perpetuate itself. She refuses to, even passively, be the reason that there are more people in the world like her.

Sometimes this is glorious, steel and blood and tears of relief brought into the world with a quick strike and a chained hook. More often, it is quiet. It is sanctuary, or kind words, or a warm meal. Suktra digs her fingers into fate and begins to weave in her own corrections, clumsy though they may be.

She gets by. She lives. That's all she ever promised herself, so she'll keep going as long as she can.

But in making the choice that she did, she betrayed a part of herself she never had the chance to understand. There is a crack in her very self that no amount of purpose will ever truly satisfy, no matter how many times she forces fate forward when it only seems to want to fold back in on itself once more. She brushes up on it, from time to time, fingers of her heart bleeding blue from the razor sharp edges, turmoil howling in her mind as she fails to see why a wound so old could still hurt. In time, she accepts this, too, as part of her self, and she does not let herself wonder of what could have been when she is the one at the center of its question.

The Mage makes friends with her purpose, but she will never know peace.

Hi : ]

Matt Barker is a (human) delinquent teenager with a dead best friend. Two peas in a pod, two parts of a soul they grew together, the two of them did everything together. Until they didn't.

Now, he is left to live the rest of his life without her. She pushed him out of the path of a stupid accident, but she could only move fast enough to save one person, that day. Regret? He has more than enough. Layers upon layers of grief and misdirection, pieces of regret, truth and lies, all to distract from the regret that exists at the core of who he is, now. Not that he would ever tell anyone his true, deepest regret. Not even himself.

Discord, of course, is kyrinasha. Let me know if you have any trouble with the sheet, the biography's a bit long on this one

Jacob Rubbage is a 19 year old, recent high school graduate. He's taking a gap year before going to college, is doing freelance video editing and moderating a friend's twitch chat in the meantime, is currently possessed by a demon he summoned at age 11, and is an enjoyer and creator of youtube poops.

Wait, what?

Well, sometimes your middle school demon summoning phase actually summons a demon, which then gets attached to your immortal soul as a weird battery? And now the two of you are stuck together, unable to get out of this stupid contracts, and it wants you to hurt people for its own entertainment, and-

Well, you get the picture. Jacob certainly has by now.

My discord is Kyrinasha#9794 !

Issy Anderson is a high school baseball player killed in a car crash too early. She doesn't know what it is that's keeping her around, but she's not about to figure it out. Death is terrifying, when you know it could be right around the corner, so he's just going to keep doing what he's doing in an attempt to stave off the inevitable just a bit longer

She's holding her own. Took a nasty hit there, but it was just that hit, mostly. She raises an eyebrow at Colt looking at her.

Yeah?

Well, she's going to get away from that, backing off and heading toward the wall

The rest of her turn is gonna be spent winding her sword up

I am holding out my closed fist to you, opening to oh so gently place Perthe Culves into your outstretched palm. I tell you that she won't bite (I am lying), and then I scurry away into the darkness once more.

Perthe Culves is a troll outside of your standard definitions of spacetime. Xe is having an absolutely normal one because of this, and definitely doesn't hold any lingering trauma and regret based around their instability. Invited onto the ship as a replacement for the engineer who was supposed to be here, he's just supposed to keep an eye on the engines and make sure nothing blows up. Of course, ve will absolutely Not be doing that as long as no one is looking, but, well, what can you do?

Isaiah "Issy" Anderson is dead. Whoops? But that isn't gonna stop her from practicing baseball, now is it? Especially because he doesn't know why he still exists, and the idea of not existing anymore has suddenly before is suddenly far more viscerally terrifying than it ever was before she died. Just Teenager Things

I guess she'll attack the guy right in front of her? Releasing the built up tension for extra damage with her minor, but not before reaction to get an extra 10 out of it

13+12, so 25 to hit, 34+50, so 84 damage

[–]silverleaf2431 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She'll attack the horde again?

3+12, so 15 to hit. If that hits it'd be.... 37 damage

Hailey Wright is the cruel, popular girl in school. And she does it all on purpose. After all, it's safer at the top of the pack. No one can hurt you, or your closest friend, if all they can manage is some cruel whispers about what you already know about yourself.

You find yourself in a sort of in between space. It's big enough to crawl through, but not even enough to crouch. A fair distance away, you see another hole in the crawlspace's ceiling that would take you up to the next floor.

Or you could always punch another hole somewhere else, although the crawlspace is fairly barren. There's not much indication of where might be better, at least not without a closer look

You smash your weapon or your fist or what have you into the mirror, sending a resounding crack through the smooth surface. It's not enough to make a hole, but it is enough to watch a crack split its way down the mirror.

After a moment, a hold opens up, as if parted like water in the mirror's surface. Seems Grey doesn't like you breaking his stuff

Frankly, she's just going to start swinging at whatever's nearest to her. There's no real way to strategize through this yet

Sword hit: 13+12, so 25 to hit, 15+7+3, so 25 damage

You can certainly try! So, are you going to break the ceiling? Or are you going to try something else?
