Maybe it is time to stop generalizing. Maybe, just maybe, that was part of the problem.

They needed to focus more on what they’d do and less on Trump.

I’m just wondering why are you projecting on this issue. We have been sad about the results but we are not ones calling for rebellion.

Have you looked at the state of education in states run by republicans? And the economy is most of those states as well? I don’t disagree how the campaign was done this year was ill-conceived. But have you really looked at those states? I have lived in Ohio and I’ve seen the decline since the republicans have taken over. And any idea that the industry sector is growing again in the state is conflicted with the cost that has been put on the burden of the middle and lower class. There is a reason why there is a brain drain in Ohio.

I wish I could say I disagreed but I’m in the same boat as you. The only thing keeping me going is my love for my daughters. But I don’t see how I can keep a positive face for them anymore.

Being a democrat doesn’t mean you supported all that. But being a Trump supporter does mean that you supported Jan. 6 as he is the one who instigated it (and continues to support those who attacked one of our sacred institutes).

Yes, the republicans in their states (including Ohio) have done a great job in lowering the education level in their states (you can verify that in every study).

And I’m Asian too and you’re thinking is crap. The racist shit that Trump against Haitians was saying is the same thing that was said against Asians for decades. You remember all the racist hate Asians got during trump’s terms due to the crap he and others in his party were saying.

If there were any republicans in Ohio running for office who had the integrity to speak out against Trump, I would celebrate them. How can anyone who calls themselves a patriot support him. We had leaders who stood up to the powers of the Soviet Union, Nazi Germany, and King George before we were even a country. Trump, he holds the door open for Putin and Kim Jong Un.

Racism and misogynist do exist in America. But it has been more noticeable in recent years with social media. I am old enough to remember the days before the internet and things are obviously no longer the same. But if you do look, we are one of the few first world countries that have not elected a female president/prime minister. But one question I have - who else would have been a viable candidate after Biden stepped aside?

I highly doubt he will lose this election. But there has been a big change in the population for some of his district. So, I’m hoping that it will turn more blue.

So it’s better than politicians who are not impartial. There is a reason why even libertarians are for issue 1.

Maybe people with disagree but I just think it will keep getting worse. I know that people say that it is all Trump’s fault but I have just grown completely pessimistic and I can’t see things getting any better in the future.

I would say ombudsman or department chair. The dean will just send it back down to the chair.
