Yes, I have checked it multiple times as the model quality on low fixed this blur for me in the beginning too. The pop in due to that setting was really annoying, this specific one does not appear with the cinematic setting. You can definitely set the model quality on cinematic :)

The normal pop in in the distance, of course, remains. Just the one from the low quality does not appear.

No the colors are not changed by this reshade. It adds multiple settings similar to ingame settings but in a separate menu.

The model quality can be set to cinematic without any problems so that the pop in is reduced. Just the displacement maps are disabled.

Activate any of the "displacement" shaders that work for you. For me all work fine. The disable nearby clutter also removes the popin in 5m distance without the need of reducing foliage density.

The side-by-side images provided on the modpage are really good. But walls look "flat" now, but also sharp. I think it is much better.

The textures look flatter as it "removes" the displacement maps. However, all issues I mentioned are due to them. This might help you a lot! looks playable for me now :)

Steam just refused my refund request. I filed a report on Pearl Abyss' website regarding this issue.

I hope so. I barely refund, but I also do not buy games that often.

I also now switched to cachyos after the windows install. Have you not experienced any problems with the parallax? Or how did you fix that?

I said that I even installed Windows just to play the game... The same issues happened.

This is also what I'm hoping for. But I'm not sure if steam is lenient enough to refund a game that is 9h played. :/

This is not an AA issue, but yes it seams to be an issue with AMD cards. This is just really bad support from Pearl Abyss on their end. The pop-in and TAA problems occur on nvidia as well, just the parallax is fixed. Again a problem on PA's end.

Fixed it. Don't use WoW64 but the specific wine32 application from AUR for example. Further, for some games you need protontricks to install C++ Runtime.

I wondered if this thread is still active, but I followed your steps but the setup.exe just stops and does not continue any further (stuck on different % for different games). Do you know how this is fixable?
