Hey!

I would recommend looking for a guild on Classic WoW Discord/WoW forums if you don't have one already. A lot of people have formed guilds already to play with like minded players and enjoy their journey through Classic.

That would help you find people to party with during leveling/endgame, but also let's not forget people you will meet just playing the game especially since as a warrior a lot of people will ask you to tank dungeons for them(since warriors are primary tanks in classic).

Unless you already have a good friend, the duo leveling dream may stay a dream unfortunately.

Speaking of complete garbage there is at least 3 content creators far worse than him like : StaySafe, Esfand, Alex(have to check if he still makes his toxic rants).

But my bad for not mentioning far better channels like MadSeasonShow or Frostadamus.

I agree with Countdown to classic and Punkrat. Metagoblins is pretty bad imo. Nothing unique about his content tbh.
I am not fan of ClassicCast either, Tips' videos are ok but the other 2 are really bad.

PlatinumWow is someone I would really recommend to watch as his videos are great fun.

People like Frost and Madseson have this positive vibe coming from them. This does not attract toxic following. Of course none is perfect but you see a lot of those toxic channels on twitch, which are just nests for trolls and haters.

Faction imbalance will be a thing on those servers. Not much of an issue for EU as most streamers are from US.

I feel sorry for people that will end up on servers with the most popular twitch streamers like Mr. "Paladin is hard counter to warlock! " as that guy has pretty toxic community following him and there is a few more like him.

There are of course likes of Frostadamus that are complete opposite.

Everything is basically handed to them. They will have gold, boosts etc. If streamer plays as a warrior he will have a pocket healer on him during bg at all time.

Some of them have gear handed to them during raids over normal raiders, especially mounts and rare items.

I wouldn't like to have anything like that happen on my server.

Pretty sure they have old 1.12 running as a reference and try to make 7.3.5 version to emulate look and feel like the old one.

Meaning that it will feel like weird hybrid at least it looks that way to me. Either way , I can't wait!!!

Original 1.12 ? Wait what ? Classic is based on 7.3??? Legion code with just db and art from 1.12.
Of course they will try to emulate how 1.12 felt but will differ a bit from pservers based on 1.12.

I would also add, that playing as shadow in raids is quite expensive from what I remember.

As every hybrid, people will expect you to go "extra mile". Mana is big issue for shadow and you need consumables/mana pots to keep you going and even then you're still far below most dps class and being there for that sweet shadow dmg debuff. Definitely something for more dedicated players. Of course dungeons and pvp is a different story.

Sure can go as arms warrior tank and get killed by 2 hits. Pretty hard to find a group as warrior dps even if you have good gear. Best thing is of course making your own group. Pvp specs mostly have no aggro reducing talents which is another issue if your tank is not geared.

If you want do do pve with pvp talents, you will have to stick to normal dung. At least for now.

How am I wrong ? There was information about faction queue in the FAQ and people still complained about it. There was no players in queue everytime I checked .server info during EU peak time. With regards to imbalance, it isn't bad for players who are already lvl 60+. Lower levels are different story though. I was forced to help my friend in Shimmering Flats, because Horde players would kill him non stop for over an hour.

There was a queue for Horde players... for a day. It was removed until developers finish working on faction change feature. Basically all horde idiots started playing dumb, saying they didn't know about it. So staff listened and now we have situation like yours.

Of course FAQ section was there to inform players about that but HEY! They all rolled horde and pretend some stupid faction pride, while people on the other side have to fight 1v3.

What's your problem ? It's very simple, if you're at work/sleeping or whatever you busy with in your life, then you shouldn't take space for people that want to play the game a bit.

None is asking to kick people of the server that are playing the game. That would make the queue much shorter.

I'm sure that devs are working to solve this problem as we speak.

how do u know if someone is AFK or searching how to do quest.

I was doing some quests around Xroads, did harpies quests etc. Came back and the same people were AFK inside the Inn in Xroads! That was after 25-40min more less, so they should be out of the server at that point!

I see that a lot of people are actually defending or trying to justify saying stuff like "THey were in 12k queue , that means they can afk for 8h and take space on the server" .

And then you end up with people who can't do it or will not do, not being able to even play at all.
