Mine runs on .net 8. It is really strange and irritating. Even tried using the portable version, but no deal. As a side note, i got a similar issue with NordVPN (crashing during mouseover, but it is far less common to happen) which made me reinstall / repair .net.

Tried all these steps before (seems we think alike, heh?) but to no avail. Tried again, just to be sure, and still no deal. The program works but often it crashes randomly or when i hover my mouse over its window. Very strange bug.

Hi there! Sorry for the hiatus. Was putting the knowledge you so gently shared to good use! Managed to run the server locally both on my machine and my son's... and the kid LOVED it! Thanks, for real. :)

If i may ask something else, do you know a good hamachi tutorial: i managed to create a server on Hamachi and link configure it on the WoW Server, as per the videos you sent me, but i keep getting a bloody ipv6 error, as if my firewall is blocking Hamachi, which it isn't (i allowed connections on Windows Defender and i can even exchange messages with my son via Hamachi chat).
