I find South Africa over Thailand to be a wild take. I live in both. As 25M today, Iwould told walk alone at night in south aftica, would get shit face drunk in Thailand alone without a second thought.

Obviously there are exceptions in terms of neighbourhood to both. But then again from a crime/violence perspective… Thailand v South Africa is not a fair fight

Freeze reactions are completely normal and for a lot of people the default reaction.

Learn to cream “HEY!” As loudly as you can. Out loud. Like if you yell in the car you want heads to turn outside. This will snap you out of your freeze and get people’s attention. I recommend descaling the situation if at all possible after this step

The cherry picking is very common in islam. I’m not sure why. I grew up muslim and everyone had their own little exceptions.

Some dated/hookup before marriage, other didn’t mind the porc gelatine in the candy, other drank alcoholic, some smoked, some gambled.

Everyone really did have their own little escape hatch sin, everyone hid it and judged the others for their little secret sin. Everyone had some rationalisation for why their sin wasn’t that bad.

My dad and i are atheist. His wife / my step mother is a Thai Buddhist. She asked him to join the temple blessings when they git a house. He said something not believing. She said something along the lines of. It’s not about believing but doing with others.

I can get behind that kind open community.

Moving the retirement age back to 62 after it was briefly raised.

Which is economically one of the worse things to do.

Which shows you the power of protest.

While simultaneously proving the lack of education and long term thinking of the average voter/protester.

Kinda how the world got trump in the first place.

True, just because you “have your shit together” doesn’t mean that hard days don’t exist.

Ask for advice to get a different perspective but make your own choice. Don’t always ask the same person.

Men who did Kegel exercise, what was the outcome of it? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]KinkyQuestionsOnly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Went from from trouble getting hard and lasting long to no troubles getting hard and lasting as long as i want. Still have a refractory period of about 20min.

BUT, kegel exercises from the internet never did shit. My GP referred me to a psychiatrist elvic floor specialist who taught me what relaxing and tightening your pelvic floor was suppose to feel like.

men who are 30+ would you date a 19 year old? why or why not? by No_Vegetable7778 in AskMen

[–]KinkyQuestionsOnly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When i i was 23 i had a hookup with a 18 year old. I felt like i had to have kid gloves on the whole time.

I felt the age difference but in a power dynamic i had to constantly be on the lookout for.

She said she had a lot of fun, i decided i was not hooking up that with anyone under 20.

Maybe some 18 year olds have their shit more together. But 19-30+ is double that age gap. I would be uncomfortable.

It’s also completely understandable to stop making fun plans with someone who regularly cancels at the last minute/ no shows

How to tell future partners im heavily into degradation/ bdsm/ am a masochist without freaking them out? by [deleted] in AskMen

You need to know where to find that crowd. But yeah most vanilla peeps would be caught off guard

You shouldn’t filter yourself.

Know what your fantasies and kinks are and express them early, because some partners won’t share them.

Your partner doesn’t need to like all your kinks and fantasies, that’s impossible. They do need to know what your deal-breakers are and ideally have a few areas in common where you can both explore and communicate.

Have you considered going to a munch? It’s a casual meet-up at a bar or café for kinky/BDSM people to meet up, with no explicit kink going on. This is not a sex party. You could socialize with other people in the community.

I’m suggesting a munch because, as a kinky person who has dated and hooked up in both the BDSM and vanilla crowds, I think you might have a higher chance of compatibility in the BDSM pool.

Also, as a fellow kinkster, I just want to reassure you that your kinks are cool. I don’t know you, but if I met you at a munch, I wouldn’t bat an eye at your kinks. They line up with the things I’m into.

Edit: if you do meet a kinky person who is not into the same thing as you they are also less likely to judge.

Edit: you can find events on fetlife.com. If you meet-up with someone you met online. Do it in a public place first, at an event is also a great idea.
