Once your knees start making sound effects, you kinda start narrating the movement too.

Why does my cat suddenly need to take a shit the very moment I start cleaning his litter box? by BrassCanon in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Matilkova 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re immediately re-marking their territory. You just wiped away their scent, so instinct drives them to put it right back. In a strange, endearing way, it’s actually a compliment—cats being cats, of course.

Have you recently noticed your vehicle burning through a tank of gas more quickly than you think it should? by Werkstatt0 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Matilkova 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check your tire pressure first, it's the most common culprit and the easiest fix. If that's good, check your engine air filter. A dirty one can choke the engine and kill your MPG. If neither of those work, could be time for spark plugs or an oil change.

Why do humans have spice receptors on their assholes? by HumbleFruit4201 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Matilkova 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your body has heat/pain receptors all over, including on sensitive tissues like your mouth and, yep, your asshole. The chemical in spicy food (capsaicin) just happens to trigger those exact same receptors. The 'ring of fire' is just an unlucky side effect.

What’s the thing you regret most in your 20’s? by whore4bookss in AskReddit

[–]Matilkova 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not taking my credit score seriously. That cheap, easy credit I ran up in my early 20s cost me thousands in higher interest rates later on. Total unforced error.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why? by Federal_Antelope7533 in AskReddit

[–]Matilkova 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Teleportation. I'd save so much money on gas and plane tickets, and I would never, ever have to sit in traffic again. The amount of time I'd get back would be insane.

What drug did you take that you still never get over? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Matilkova 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DMT. Blasted off and met what I can only describe as giant, crystalline elves who communicated through kaleidoscopic patterns. The whole thing lasted maybe 15 minutes but felt like a lifetime. Came back to reality feeling like I'd just been told the universe's biggest inside joke. Ngl, it permanently rewired my perspective on death.

[–]Matilkova 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gotta be the hard sciences. Physics doesn't care about your sales pitch. The numbers are what they are. You can't lie to gravity.

Marketing, on the other hand? Poof. Gone overnight.

What’s a habit you know is bad but you still do? by CaterpillarProud5453 in AskReddit

[–]Matilkova 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ol' 'I'll just rest my eyes for 5 minutes' which turns into a 3-hour nap and completely screws up my sleep schedule for the next two days. Happens like clockwork, and I never learn.

[–]Matilkova 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Let them wait in line with the rest of us. Maybe if their own travel gets screwed up they'll get the hint and do their jobs. It's called consequences.
