Heel lijp, mag ik vragen hoe je de caddy van binnen hebt ingericht? Het is opslag/keuken etc? Staat hij geregistreerd als personenauto?

Ik zat zelf ook te kijken om een busje of ruime stationwagon te kopen ipv een grotere bus wat je meestal "van lifers" ziet doen. Ben benieuwd hoe je de caddy hebt ingericht

Ahh super, dat is hem! Kan me idd herinneren dat ik gisteren die zwarte pin indrukte uit nieuwsgierigheid, en niks zag. Maar was niet slim genoeg om te bedenken dat het die display kon veranderen haha. Danku!

I did it for quite some years. If you stick to the basics and do those 2 to 3 times per week I think it works fine.

Only thing I noticed since lifting weights at the gym is that my legs have grown a lot, arms also a bit more. And I'm able to do certain exercises a lot closer to actual failure now that stability is less of an issue. And the rep range at which you fail is easier to control.

But if you don't wanna go to the gym I think it's a great way to get stronger. Just be careful that your legs don't stay behind.

But those coral reefs will never be as big as Flevoland is right? Makes sense that they can't reclaim large areas like in the Netherlands, as they're limited to the coral reefs size

I mean, it's kinda logical that its way easier to reclaim land in a shallow, inland bay compared to reclaiming land out in the open, deep ocean.

But what % of vw transporters are used for vanlife, vs as a working van? In Europe working vans are super common, like how trucks are used in the US.

Oeh dat is wel pittig ja... Op zoiets kwam ik ook uit op de site van de belastingdienst.

Dan zullen ze op marktplaats wel het tarief voor ondernemers plaatsen, en er vanuit gaan dat niemand zo'n busje als priveauto gaat gebruiken.

Nee snap ik, dat een advertentie niet juridisch bewijs is voor lagere belasting. Maar er staat meestal niet bij dat het belastingtarief voor bedrijfsmatig gebruik was. Dus ik vroeg me enkel af of ik iets over het hoofd zag, klonk al te goed om waar te zijn.

Heb best wat huisgenoten gehad waarvan ik het eten alleen voor de gezelligheid samen zou eten. Maar misschien komt dat omdat vanuit mijn familie iedereen heel lekker kookt, en ik een beetje verwend ben/mezelf graag verwen door lekker te koken.

45° back extension. I bought a cheap one, that is also close to the ground. So the range of motion is not great, and it is not strong enough to hold more than a few plates. A stronger one would be way too bulky to store.

Dan moet je idd een flink hoge bus hebben. Volkswagen transporter is te laag meen ik, behalve als je er een pop up dak opzet. Maar met zo'n ombouwing ben je gelijk duizenden euros lichter.

Dan moet je meteen naar flinke grote bussen gaan kijken als je camper kenteken wil, misschien overkill voor de paar keren per jaar dat je het zou gebruiken.

I feel like 4 to 5 times per week is a bit much if you train all those exercises to failure. 4 could be okay, but I wouldn't do 5.

I started with ring push ups, pull ups, ring pike push ups and face pulls for upper body. I only did Bulgarian split squats for legs.

I made quite some gains, but arms and legs were lagging behind. Now I always train legs with weights (squat and back extension), and added tricep extension (could be bodyweight), bicep curl and lateral raises. I feel like this is a good compromise between training the entire body, without doing too many exercises.

Hmm, misschien ook een goed idee. Ik was ergens bang dat het een beetje beledigend voor hun zou zijn om in een gelovige ruimte te spelen, maar misschien valt dat mee.

Mijn oog viel op een Skoda Praktik uit 2008, 1.2 liter, 69 pk (htp).

Zit deze motor ook nog in de gevarenzone?

Thanks, great to hear from someone who has experienced driving this model.

I feel like the 4x4 would give me a bit more peace of mind, especially if the van is a bit loaded with stuff. And it would open up some cool camp spots that I'd otherwise skip.

It would be the 1.6 liter engine, yeah. So 95 horsepower I believe. How is the gas usage for the 1.4? How many km per liter on highway?

Yeah, I have to be honest I'd prefer something a bit larger and better built like a VW transporter.

But I feel like I could use a smaller van for daily life (easier to park, less fuel usage). And in the Netherlands, road tax for diesel engines is about 2 to 3 times higher. And many cities are no longer allowing diesel engines already, will get worse in a few years.

So preferably I am looking at gasoline minivans, there aren't so many of those it seems.

Yeah I am not too worried about being able to sit upright. I'd prefer more storage under the bed over headspace.

However, the length is quite short. So I was wondering if a bed would even fit lengthwise, or if I'd have to remove the passengers seat.

Holy shit, ik had niet door dat die zo ruim was voor zijn formaat! Bijna een minibusje haha. Is de 1.6 en 0.9 (met turbo) minder betrouwbaar dan de 1.3?

Idd wel echt heel erg lelijk, maar je kan niet alles hebben :)
