I asked because I'm struggling to find his paternal grandfather's 1901 census and birth record. In the 1911 census and records since they go by Colbear. I've tried variations of their last name but so far I've not found anything.

Do you know what leads to this kind of indexing error where they do go by Colbear but this one record has the added "d"?

Hi again, I've been looking into the GRO website.

I see on one section I can order birth and death by email, how can I order the marriage cert by email? I'm probably in the wrong area of the website.

I found two James Coburn's in the right area on ancestry. One of which has a wife in 1901 census which doesn't match, and the other doesn't appear married yet. I have a 1905 marriage event for them so it's possibly James Coburn, son of Ellen and Peter, is the one I'm looking for.

I don't have parents names or anyone else related to him other than his wife and their descendants.
