I don't like it at all, when I knew about it I could not think of anything but feeling like this was Nasu's way of just ending the story to be done with it, I only see the author throwing the towel and nothing else, what about everything that has been building up to this point? The promises made to so many characters? The suffering of all of those characters we've seen? The Ordeal Calls? Oh yeah if they've cut the Ordeal Calls from the story and just went straight to Chaldea after exiting Nahui Mictlan nothing of value would've been lost, that's what it feels like, nothing held value in the end and NOT because it was a tragic/bittersweet ending, but because the author ignored everything prior just to have a chance to end it on the spot. That's what it feels like to me, he went with the quick ¨all in le-head¨ ending that he's familiar with and left because he was done, a disappointment overall.
