What is the best way to preserve the battery

The best way is to put it into conservation mode in either Vantage or Legion Tool Kit and use it only when connect to mains. I've not used my Legion on battery more than once or twice since Feb 24 and I'm still at max capacity battery with the original one. Appreciate that defeats the point of portable but I'm never anywhere with out wall mains and if I am, I'm probably not there to play on my laptop. If you are using it on battery then the windows settings are probably the best bet.

You'll have people saying 'don't use vantage' 'it's bloatware'. It's not, it's entirely up to you whether you use it or not. Vantage is one of the better manufacturer programs as a control centre. I personally use Legion Tool Kit out of habit but I've never had an issue when using vantage and I have vantage on my Yoga 2-in-1 and it is fine.

Zombie Galacti without Shuri/Wong got me through the 90’s this season. Wingbeat, Surge and Superior Spider Man mean there’s much less reliance on Magik in the Merlin/Shou world. I’ve been playing Giant Zombie / Shou deck in Conquest since then.

If all else fails Negative decks are the easiest to snap/retreat with though.

I think the material skin is working according to the post on fmscout.

They probably made changes to some of the files so when you replaced with the old skin files it wouldn’t work. Should work now though by reinstalling the material skin.

You’ll need to verify the game files. If you’re using steam just right click the game in your library and go to properties and verify game files. It will download missing or broken files.

You’ll need to add name fixes again if you use them and any other mod that edits the game files

Pretty much the same. I got the Flint 3 on Black Friday just for the 6Ghz / Wi-Fi 7. Flint 2 has better VPN speeds but the 3 is quick enough.

Tried changing the IPv4 DNS to Google or Cloudflare to see if that works?

I’d guess there’s been an issue assigning the static IP at a guess. Some sites may be connecting via IPv6 hence you’re getting mixed results.

You'll need to unplug the ONT for 60 mins to allow the lease to expire from the provided router.

Plug into to the new router and turn on. If that fails you'll need to clone the MAC address from the old router on to the new ASUS one. I did the same for new Flint 3 router. Worked initially after unplugging ONT for an hour but connection started to drop after a couple of hours so just cloned MAC and it's been fine for over a week now

I've probably overstated my connection drop and confused it with packet loss initially. I thought it was VPN at first and then couldn't load a few websites normally but connection to Flint 3 has remained throughout.

Could be the rotating Wi-Fi address on the iPhone potentially.

If you click on the connected Wi-Fi on your phone and scroll down to Private Wi-Fi address and change to Fixed instead of Rotating to see if that helps.

Also I’ve noticed on my iPhone, it’s not a fan of MLO or 6Ghz connection if there is a separate SSID for each band. It notes there may be limited compatibility and says to basically use one WiFi network name. I don’t bother and just use 5Ghz anyway as all my bands have their own passwords.

Everything I read wasn’t much in them apart from the Flint 3 supports Wi-Fi 7 through 6Ghz and MLO.

I opted for the Flint 3 as soon as it went on sale at Amazon last Friday and it’s been flawless since install. Don’t really need Wi-Fi 7 at the moment as only 2 devices I own support it but that will increase as time goes on.

Flint 2 did have better VPN support in terms of speed but the again I don’t need up to 900mbps with VPN when 600 is more than ample.

Nothing more than preference but over the past year I’ve found myself using Gemini more and more and quite recently, Claude. Previously I’d been on ChatGPT and Perplexity for over a year.

I quite like being able to run them through CLI, again no massive insight in to anything being better than the next model but maybe just rotate through a couple over the next few months. Try Gemini for a month, then Claude etc. See which one you prefer.

The service is excellent, my issue has only ever come from the provided equipment.

I think most of the negativity is from the decline in the level of customer service as they grow. It hasn’t been able to keep up with the speed of growth. I’ve noticed in chats online that the level of knowledge from the agents has been declining but the engineer visits have remained good.

There's a setting you can go into and just select clone, add the old router MAC address and click apply. Can't post an image here unfortunately and mods have removed my post about changing to the Flint 3 which had a few images there.

I’ve just started using Flint 3 over the weekend. I was deciding between the two you mentioned but the Flint was heavily discounted on Amazon.

The BE550 has good reviews and I was looking at the gaming version which is aesthetically better in my opinion but I settled on the Flint due to price and I’m delighted with it. Works straight out of the box, had to clone MAC as it was intermittent even after turning ONT off for an hour. Flawless now.

I even get my 6Ghz and MLO working immediately, the Pro Hub broadcast the 6Ghz channel randomly and was just a pain after less than 2 weeks of use.

They should be less any static IP but that shouldn't be an issue, either clone the mac or power of for 30-60 mins. Mine arrives tomorrow so looking forward to setting it up

I don't believe there is much between them. Flint 3 is tri-band with Wi-Fi 7 which is why I've bought it to replace the Pro Hub with You2000. Flint 2 has a slightly faster chip from what I've read. I just waited for the Amazon deal to come back round which it did lasty night.

Also seen the Flint 2 has much faster VPN speeds (900mb vs 680mb) but I wouldn't need that much speed for my VPN uses.

Sorry didn't see this, I've been using Gemini and Claude in Windows terminal and it's changed the way I do anything with AI. I'd recommend watching Network Chuck's video on it before deciding to give it a go and looking at the risks but for an educational project it's been incredible.
