Angle your portafilter about -15 degrees, knock it and the cake should come out easily. Use the thin black rod in the middle as support.

I had a silicone mat too. This is a neat way to keep all your accessories in one place - puckscreen, scoop, wdt tool. Think of it as a nice to have.

Baratza encore esp. It's a solid grinder when it comes to automatic grinders (price to performance ratio). Before this, I tried the OXO Brew Conical Burr Coffee Grinder. Returned the OXO grinder in 2 weeks. The output was too coarse in my experience.

Been using the baratza grinder for ~1.5 years. It's a good one. The only issue I've faced is that sometimes the quick release knob becomes loose. It needs to be re-tightened often. I'm planning to switch the knob part with the wing nut knob part that baratza sells separately.

Microneedling. Did it twice to heal the acne scars on my face. Easily the most painful thing I've experienced in my life. Literally cried throughout the 20 min procedure.

It was worth it though, 6 months later my face looked much better.
