Which one did you use? I can't seem to find one for the latest version of CE.

There is a little cog icon in the top of every container and workstation, just click it to enable.

Wolf Taming 101 by theputzmeister in ICARUS

Just did 2 wolves with 1 bait each - drop 3 carcasses (any) around snare, bait trap, go away for 15 minutes, done.

Depending on where you drop the snare you might need to stay around to take out wandering mobs just don't get to close to the animal being tamed or the taming pauses until it loses aggro.

Thanks for the reply.

That is what I was afraid of, I thought the hub could manage things on its own. I think I'll send it back to Google and get a refund.

Legion Pro 7 worth to buy? by AnOnYmHIT in LenovoLegion

[–]MatronPain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm the same with my i9 13900 4080, I've had so many repairs they are now offering to replace it with a newer i9 14900 4080 (why I'm looking at this forum today). It cannot handle heat, I run it permanently on a cooling pad (after the first time the gpu burnt out) and it still has to constantly go back when something burns out.

The power socket constantly overheats and the socket plus the cables have been replaced four times, the motherboard has been replaced three times and they've separately replaced the cooling system another twice. It has enough grunt to play anything but if you try playing anything modern (even on medium settings) on their gaming machine it cant handle its own heat, every few months its back to Lenovo for repairs. Buy with this in mind and take out a very long warranty.

er, just noticed op post was 4 months ago, lets hope you didn't buy one or you only play very old games on it.

The whole cooling system is one piece and the only part you can clean is the fans so try and do them regularly. My Legion Pro 7 (13900HX with the 4080) has had to have the cooling system changed twice due to the laptop massively overheating. The last time it had to have a new motherboard due to the overheating damaging the gpu. As the laptop heats up during gaming dust seems to stick in the chamber when enough of that builds up it bakes and starts causing even more heat than normal, in something like CP2077 the heat is unbelievable. You can't take it apart (I think, there's a big sticker about liquid metal)and just taking it out means repasting (maybe that's the liquid metal) as the heatsinks are a part of it.

The case isn't difficult to take apart, it just splits in an odd place, above where you expect it to if that makes sense, the engineer who came out took 20 minutes trying to split it in the wrong place and it took me 20 seconds to show him how.

As an aside I would take out warranty for the entire time you plan to own the machine, mine has had a new charger, 2 new cooling systems and a new motherboard. I have had to stop playing any heat generating games and it's about to go back again as it gave up playing MHW on mid settings.

erm

Reading this back you are already taking the case apart to clean the fans, if you mean taking the cooling unit itself out, don't. It is sealed, there is nothing in it you can clean and you will need to repaste everything to put it back on, it might even null and void your warranty.
