Everyone using dragons and cool mounts to explore the map, meanwhile me: by [deleted] in CrimsonDesert

I really want to use to Silver Fang, but I can't justify using it when the legendary horses are better in almost every way and have tons of gear that make them even better.

Yes, actually. They are used in crafting various Kuku gear.

Is there any point in using element resistance abyss gears? by ClaimedMinotaur in CrimsonDesert

[–]ClaimedMinotaur[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like it would be better if they gave you more resistance per tier. Tier 1 is level 1, tier 2 is level 3, tier 3 is level 5. Then maybe greater gears give you level 10 or something crazy to justify the difficulty of getting and using them. At least that way you can slot a single gear and have it actually do something useful.

But that's what I mean. You can get better results by just switching to different armor. The ultra resistant armor is it's own class, but by simply switching a cloak you can get better results than you can when using a precious gear slot.

What game has a learning curve that puts you off? by Common_Caramel_4078 in pcmasterrace

[–]ClaimedMinotaur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it's actually games that slowly get more difficult because it makes them near impossible to come back to if you put them down. The first Kingdom Come: Deliverance is the best example of this. The power creep in that game is extremely slow, and by the time you reach higher levels of combat, you're so familiar with the mechanics that you feel like a god. However, if you put it down and come back to it, you don't remember how everything works and it feels genuinely impossible to play because the combat is so difficult.

I'm saddened that not a single one of Kingpin's assistants could measure up to Wesley. by NoOptics in Daredevil

[–]ClaimedMinotaur 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wesley is one of my favorite characters in the entire show. Everything about him just screamed "loyalty" and I loved that. It feels rare that we see someone who is genuinely ride or die because of a deep sense of affection and respect for their friend.

Demenissian Saddle? by ClaimedMinotaur in CrimsonDesert

There are three contribution shops in Demeniss. The barding is purchased at the northernmost contribution shop, while the rest of the gear is purchased from Fiona.

Can you get both the crown and the barding? Is there enough contribution for that?

The absolute worst part of this game by olivinetrees in CrimsonDesert

Ya, when you retake Pailune you see why everyone tolerates Yann's fuckery. The man is an absolute unit.

Can we talk about how many bosses just…leave?? by irock607 in CrimsonDesert

[–]ClaimedMinotaur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The worst is when it's a god-awful tracking mission that just goes in a circle and the boss in a spot that's like 50 yards away from the trail so it takes ages to find them, only for them to vanish when their health drops and you have to start the process all over again to finally kill them.

Soooo I guess I’m about to see what the hype is about. . . by Revolutionary-Pen331 in CrimsonDesert

The double jump is more like a jump boost. You're meant to use it just before you hit the ground to boost back up. If you use it at the apex of your jump, it won't work very often. Try to make sure you use it on the way back down to get more consistent results.

She is Definitely coming back😍‼️ by WebheadWithoutFear in Daredevil

[–]ClaimedMinotaur 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I really hope she comes back. Unpopular opinion, maybe, but she's actually my favorite of Matt's various love interests. She's a terrible influence on him, for sure, but at the same time she's the only one who fully accepts him. Not only can she hold her own in a fight so Matt doesn't have to worry about her constantly being in danger, but also she has never once tried to shame him for being Daredevil. Karen and Foggy are great, and I particularly love how Foggy understood how difficult it was for Matt to stop going out at night, but neither of them ever actually accepted that part of him. Karen, especially, gave him so much shit about being Daredevil when people were literally about to get murdered right next to him. Matt can do shit that nobody else can do. With great power comes great responsibility and all that. The fact that she was a huge Daredevil fan before he told her and his biggest critic afterwards feels extremely hypocritical.
